I jumped on a monster because I'm a ninja!  I wouldn't get very far in the shadows today though wearing blue, purple, green and yellow tye dye...perhaps that's why i got into a fight with a monster...it was trying to drag me back into the closet before I frightened everyone with my top!

My bear arrived today (little Pink one) and she's just gorgeous!  I am soooooooooooo lucky! bear_wub

I hope you sister has a speedy recovery, she seems to have been through a lot.  She's very lucky to have a sister like you who has obviously supported her.  She must be thrilled to bits with her new bear, she is utterly gorgeous!

I love the sound of 78's, in fact I love the sound of most vynil, it has a quality to it that's lacking completely in CD's the scratchiness of it is like listening to long forgotten memories, CD's are just too perfect, we have lost a lot in the name of progress.

My favourite song on 78 has to be Shaboom...and 20 tiny fingers, which my great grandad used to play for me.

Happy playing Chris, I envy you bear_original

Nice Job, I like the hands and feet are they wired fingers?

Y'know I'm sure at some point I dated this guy!

I have fads and phases, last year I was permanently attatched to my my ancient Bernina and felt like some kind of cyborg, but I was supplying a shop and they were selling faster than I could hand sew them.  There's no great mystery to machining, just pin everything, go slow and remember to remove the pin in front of the foot otherwise its gonna break your needle and if you're unlucky your nose too. At the minute and for the last year, I'm handsewing everything because I'm not supplying a shop anymore and have since fallen in love again with the feel of mohair. Next month when Im sick of handsewing (which I can feel coming on)  Berni is moving back into the conservatory and will be buzzing happily away.  Ive got three sewing machines, a useless Husquvarna something or other basic, a rose and the bernina, my janome I completely buggered up making druid robes enmasse...and tunics for elves, and viking tabbards...I really miss that machine   bear_cry

Hey, congrats on your baby news I wish you all the best for a happy pregnancy and the website is looking fabby too. bear_thumb

I'm apparently a talent too, but having drifted from job to job looking for "the grail of perfect jobs"  I always considered myself flotsam.  I had no idea what half of those questions were, I just threw a pin, so I guess its safe to say I was never gonna be a mandarin!   bear_grin

Awww sorry and condolences, back pain is no fun at all...ever!  You could try a course of Swedish Body Massage, i know this probably sounds weird (trust me, I am a qualified therapist in this)  But a lot of pain is muscle tension and if you can find a way of relaxing those muscles in good cases it can halve what you are feeling.  I haven't ever tried accupuncture, but have heard that it's very good.

I hope you feel better soon

She's lovely, such a pretty colour and what a nice smile.

Thanks for your kind comments Melissa and Gemma.   I named him Grundle, he looks as though he'd be a grumbly boy given half the chance!  bear_original  Gemma, from what I've seen the cats that you foster come under the heading of way cute!   bear_grin

Thanks Kerrilyn

I really like Grundle as a name for him, so I think it will have to be that! bear_thumb   I had no idea what to call him but knew that he couldn't go through life with the name of uglikat! bear_ermm

Thanks for the help

100_0497.JPGHi,

This is a new creation that I know I can't sell with the name Uglikat, but can't think of anything else that suits him.  I was going to call him Sir Ocelot, after all that's what he is...but Uglikat seems to fit the bill.  Suggestions are most welcome!

Cheers

Here's a picture of my loo li and Ruth, your baby can come live with me too when you get fed up with her, but I dont' think I stand any chance at all!  My baby had a poorly eye on the photo of her awake, she's okay now though.  100_0124.JPG100_0123.JPG
