Beautiful!

I have not posted anything in a long long time.
This was my latest creation, a mink kitten, who quickly found a new home.
Introducing a new panda design which is bigger and rounder than my recent pandas. I also gave them sheared mink paw pads.
More photos of this Panda pair on my Blog: http://minkbears.blogspot.com/2013/10/n … esign.html
"Shouyang" is absolutely outstanding!

Bear Hugs~ Kathy
Your creations are truly amazing ... I can't wait to see more.
Here I am and still making mink teddies. Hi Gail. Thanks, Joanne, for letting me know Gail was looking for me. Joanne was correct that there is a Contact Page on my website and I also have my direct email address listed on that page. I have two websites and two blogs ... I also have an Etsy Shop and an ArtFire Shop that advertises my Custom Teddy Bear Service (from your mink coat or stole). I thought I was easy to find ... just google "Kathy Myers mink bears" and there I am!!! It is best to direct the person that wants custom teddies to my Blog: http://minkbears.blogspot.com because that it the site that I keep most current and there are links on that page to my "Custom Service" page and there is also a link to "Contact Me". Thanks for remembering me. I will have to update Teddy Talk with some current photos of my more recent creations. Thanks!!!
Wonderful!

So sweet !

This is my newest unique fantasy creation. It is a combination of my two favorite animals that I make: a panda and a mouse ... to create a "Panda Mouse". I love them !!! I hope you will too.

They are very happy little creatures that lived in my imagination and have now been brought "to life" in mink and leather.

Well, I shouldn't stay away from TT for so long ... everything looks different!
But I've been very busy with my creations. I worked most of last month on this special request order for an Anniversary celebration. I created five happy pandas. More details on my Blog: "Vintage Mink Bears" Blog

My mink Baby Kangaroo is a brand new design that I am really delighted with. It was a request by a collector who had seen a OOAK kangaroo that I made several years ago but since it was an OOAK I had not kept the pattern. In order to fill her request I had to design a new kangaroo pattern. I had so much fun working on the pattern because that's my favorite part of being a TB artist ... working on new designs. I think I'll keep this pattern and make a few more baby kangaroos because I love this pattern!!!

Well ... obviously I have not checked in with Teddy Talk since April because everything looks different. I'm trying to figure it all out for the first time ...
What have I been doing since April that has kept me to busy to post on TT? Mink mice ! I've been making lots of mink mice. They have always been my personal favorites ... now my collectors are starting to love them too. That's okay because I still love making them.
Wow!!!! Absolutely amazing. Beautiful.

I made my Easter Bunny early this year. This design for this bunny was inspired by the discovery of this lace bun warmer. As soon as I saw it I visualized a little cabbage patch bunny ... a bunny sitting in the middle of the bun warmer with Easter eggs in each pocket, surrounding the bunny.

I'm a little late to this thread (I just found it on TT's Facebook page) ... but I'm not late to the Teddy Bear World. I've been a Teddy Bear Artist since 1988 and I knew I would be a TB artist for the rest of my life after I won a Golden Teddy in 1989. I spent the 1990s doing all the TB shows around Southern California and I got to meet many of the great TB artists of that era. Whenever I opened a teddy bear magazine in the 90s it was always fun because I had done a show with most of the artists featured. It was a great time to be a Teddy Bear Artist. Now everything is online. In the early 2000s I had to teach myself enough about computers to keep my Bear Business alive. Now 24 years after making my first bear, I'm still sewing 7 days a week because I am blessed to have long waiting lists of collectors ... thank goodness !!! .... because after all this time as a Teddy Bear Artist, I couldn't make a living doing anything else.
