What a sweet face! I love the color too!
thank you Becky! I too love the vintage effects of sparse mohairs! I love the aged bear look. My Goldie could use more 'distressing' finishing touches... I need to experiment with all these things! I would also like to (one day) make a fuzzy bear though! It's on my list
awww thank you for the compliments Carrie!!!
and thanks again Sue Ann! I'm so glad you like the way she turned out! it's so different from the picture of your goldie bear! It would have been fun to see others' versions of goldie bear too just to see the variety from one pattern. I'm bummed the gallery is gone! Well, I'll just have to take part in the next challenge
yay!
Hi everyone! I just joined Teddy Talk yesterday and I decided it would be a fun introduction to make a bear for you! I chose the Goldie Bear Challenge by Sue Ann (in the free pattern section of TT) and here she is!!!
I'm so giddy about how she turned out!! I had so much fun making this bear that once I started, I worked all night until she was done I used a blonde sparse mohair fabric, I had to slightly shrink the arm and leg size in order to get all the pattern pieces to fit. I just love this bear!!!! So fun! Thank you Sue Ann for sharing this pattern!
