Here is my newest bear. Ms. Brown dresses up and pretends to be a Japanese girl.

Sorry for my very very late reply as I was occupied by other issues.
It means that my bear face always look one side bigger than the others. I found the problem may be stemmed from filling the cotton. However, I only discovered it when the nose was finished or the eyes were set .... It's still very difficult for me to make left side face as big as the right side ......

Hi. Long Time haven't post my teddy. Here is Littileo. I found problem of creating balancing face & nose. Anyone can suggest a better way for getting a balance of face & nose when doing needle sculpting? Thanks!

Thanks! Becky and Renee,

Yes, I've gotten braver to trim the fur on bear's face and I do it little by little with the small scissor. It's much more better have bear trimmed on face as it give a more characteristic outlook.
I am looking forward making my next bears as they will gifts to small children and I will use plastic safety joints and eyes. Hope I would still manage a lovely look on the bears.
Finally, I found this web-site is very useful as I learnt a lot of skills from here and tried the techniques mentioned here. Thanks for all the friends share their knowledge.

Her name is Charlotte. She is a shy and quiet girl waiting for someone to be her friend.

Hi ~ This is Ernie. Is he lovely?

Cosette Lai

Thanks! Becky,

I used thread to attach arms & legs to the body instead of joints. Therefore, he is thin as I need to hold the thread tight while attaching them together. His eyes are plastic. Therefore, he is safe for children.
How can I make a bear in a more artistic like? I love the artistic bear.
I think I need to practice more on nose. Hope I can make a perfect nose in future.

Hi. He is Ulmo. It's very hard tohave a nice embroidered nose. Please help to comment what I should improve on making bear. Do you think it is sellable?

Cosette Lai

Thanks Becky & EJ,

I have more confidence right now. Hope I can keep on as my friends seem not encouraging me to devote my time in making bear. .....

Cosette Lai

Hi Sy,

Your bears are lovely. I am new in TT as well. I have just started to make bear and hope I can improve my skills and design a bear myself one day. Keep us post your bears and we can share our interests together.

Becky,

Thanks for your comments. Some friends said the position of her ears is too rear.... Is it true? Is there is any standard portion for placing ears of teddy?

Cosette Lai

Hi. Her name is Hoppy. My fourth trial on making teddy. Hope I can improve my skills and learn more techniques. There are limited information and supplies in Hong Kong.

Cosette Lai

Dear All,

Thanks for your comments. I am happy that all you welcome me. I really appreciate all the works presented in this website. All bears and pals are wonderful. I really eager to learn how to make a fabulous teddy like the one shown on web.
BTW, I named this doggie as "curiosity" finally as he triggered my eagerness in making teddy bear and I am making a rabbit now. I think making nose is the most difficult one in making teddy bar. Like curiosity, I used a leather to make a nose and attach the nose on it. Unfortunately, the result is not as pretty as his nose. I will try to embroider a nose on next to see the result.

NyXy Nook,
Yes, it's my third creation. The first and second were not good enough to show you. However, my daughter loves the first one and always plays with him.
