For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
I am not sure where you would get feather fur in the UK. In the states, I get it from a supplier on the east coast. I know most of the fur comes from Europe so there should be a supplier there. Sorry I couldn't be of more help but there are others who use this fur so hopefully one of them can answer you.
How wonderful!
My internet sales have gone down the last couple of months, but I am doing local craft shows and the sales are great. I find that I am the only one with bears that are made from scratch. People are amazed that I do it and love the facial expressions. The biggest thing I get is "you make the whole thing not just the clothes!"
I started receiving cards this week also. My cards are ready for mailing and will go out on Monday after a trip to the post office for stamps. It sure brightens my day to get the cards from all my TT friends.
Thank you all
Happy Thanksgiving to all. Enjoy the day!
I like all three and I can see why they all went to new homes so quickly.
Love all the stories. I had to read them to my hubby too. He does understand bear talk.
I haven't been on in here in a while because of a big show I was doing. (18 days). It was a great show.
Lenora, like everyone has said before, each bear is so different and they will tell you what he/she should look like as you do them. Just go with the flow and they will all turn out like they are suppose too. Good luck with your ellie.
Mine is cut out but because I have been busy with an 18 day craft show, it won't get done until next week. Doesn't have to go too far so I will be okay.
What a sweet story to go with your sweet little bear. I admire anyone who can make minis. I just don't have the patience or the fingers to do it.
He is really cute and love that face.
Neat picture Alison. The mountains that are close to us are pretty barren with only scrub bushes so no fall colors. Our mountains are prettier in the spring. When we get enough winter rain they are filled with wild flowers.
Lovely pictures. We don't have trees that turn color where I live in the desert. Thanks!
Thanks Dawn.
Karen, loved the story about the dad in foil. I can just picture it. We did not have one trick or treater. Usually there are about 20 kids but this year the neighborhood was so quiet with not even the older kids walking around. The fire department had put on a party at the local event center on Friday night so I guess that the kids all went there.
Joanne, this is all so wrong. I ddn't know anyone could get your email list like this. I don't send out emails much from my website but I guess I will have to be more careful and use the bcc when I do.
What a lovely!!
Alison, what wonderful pictures and it sounds like you had a fun night. When we were younger and had all the kids home we use to all have costumes and a big party. What Fun!!!
Very sweet!!!
I see why she won first place. Beautiful job.
Great Jane, love the poem. Thanks and Happy Halloween to you too.
Love the fur and coloring on this bear. Beautiful job.
Snow is so pretty and peaceful looking. Thanks for the pictures Tami.
Robert, so sorry about your ordeal. I hope you are all healed. Vegas is a crazy place.
So tiny and joined too.....great!!
