Stephanie, these are fabulous. I especially favor Buddy! Don't know how you mini-makers do it!
Roller Coaster Tycoon ... I had to uninstall it from my pc. The kids had all these parks that were making a ton of money. I went broke. Too much time spent landscaping and making the restrooms convenient to the eateries, etc. Good Lord!
Beautiful! Thank you for posting!
Books (stories). I especially like hanging out at Barnes & Noble. Other artists to be sure! People watching (head out to the mall or to WalMart).
I can never remember where I put things like keys, purse...

I battle with this dreaded disease daily.

Details starting to take shape!
THAT is SOOO cool! I love embroidering! I don't design, but have a program where I can change sizes and cut things out that I don't need or want (Embird). It was inexpensive ... maybe $90, compared to the big guns software packages ... and does the trick for me. Opens all formats. I like downloading the hus format because they seem to be smaller files.
I tested a package that was for designing, but have WAY too many irons in the fire to do a good job. I bought my machine thinking I'd use it to embellish bridesmaid dresses, then sell it. But after using it, I'm sure that won't happen!
Thank you so much for sharing! Very nice quilt!

My poor mom was so forgetful she could hide her own easter eggs!
HAAAAA! <Doesn't THAT just give us something to look forward to?!>
Hi Tami ~
Wow; you're really going to town!
Haven't used them in a long time, but my experience was that they did stretch. I've used both fusible interfacing and muslin lining with good results to eliminate the stretch. Stitch Witchery is inexpensive and I think I used that once to adhere the muslin to the fabric.
Guess we know what Shelli is doing when she's offline today ... workin' on her backdrop!
Tami ~
Thanks for the tip! If I ever get that savvy, I'll give the method a try!
OLD FRIENDS
Two elderly ladies had been friends for many decades. Over the years, they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures. Lately, their activities had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play cards. One day, they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, "Now don't get mad at me . I know we've been friends for a long time, but I just can't think of your name! I've thought and thought, but I can't remember it. Please tell me what your name is." Her friend glared at her. For at least three minutes she just stared and glared at her. Finally she said, "How soon do you need to know?"
This is <some of> us!
Good one!
OMG ... this sounds so painful and cruel! Thankfully, they don't get their little heartbeat until the face is complete. RIGHT?
You MUST, MUST, MUST tell me, though, where you got that fabulously pretty photo backdrop. I've been holding off buying one because they're so stinking expensive ...
Expensive? Didn't even know you could actually purchase them. Too much to learn.
Judi ~ Could one be made with some muslin and an airbrush ... outside? Brain hurts. Thinking too hard.
This says it all!

Girl you have a massive amount of talent/potential! This little guy is incredible!

Aww! Markings of Rotweiller? <sp?> How big is he?
No problem ...
I sometimes forget to scroll all the way down on the index page to the various topics for new posts.
Thanks for the info. I may check the Dollar Store!

Love the racoon! Awesome fish too! I picked up some glass fish I can't wait to use wtih a bear. That's looks like a HUGE one. Not always easy to find.
Great job!
here's a link to how I baste with staples... and I also use the alligator clips prior to stapling.
Ahh ... when you say staple ... you mean STAPLE.
Good Luck Deb...you must be on a creative roll lately!!!
Don't know about that ... just have to start finding ways to be more of a time miser ... all efficiency gains!

How do you think the 7/8" ones would work?

If you find this thread ... is this similar to what you use for basting? Staples come out easily? http://www.ezquilt.com/products/basting/bastegun.htm
