1162690997b.jpegWelcome bear friends, here is my attempt at an Anime Bear.

She measures in at 1  1/2 inches tall.

pma2003

Absolutely adorable.

What size are they???

pma2003

I'm not keen on rats either, but he can come in my house anytime!!
Splendid job.

pma2003

Great Job!!
Reminds me of the time I taught a bunch of girl scouts how to make teddies to give to the local firefighters.
They were just as adorable as James's

pma2003

Love the cuties.

Just curious, as I love the adorable eyes.!!!
What size are they??

pma2003

Yes,
I totally agree!!

I would also like to thank Mindy Kinsey for publishing my article in the Dec Issue of Teddy Bear & Friends.
My daughter was estatic to see us, as she just adores bears and loves to come to my bear fairs to be a part of the bear scene.

I purchased some mini cotton pins and discs last year and haven't the slightest idea how to use them in my mini's.

Up until now I have used brass fasteners as they work great!!

Can anyone help or send a diagram, as I have forgotten how to do it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

DSCF0037.JPGI would just like to show off one of my new ornaments that I Make for Christmas Gifts for friends.

The bears name is Mel and she is one of a kind and one of my favourite.

Thank you for admiring.

Thank you Lisa,
For sending me an email with all the info on the critique sheet.  It has given me new insight into bear competiitons and it's amazing that when I did indeed critique my bears, howmuch detail I have been missing.
Since I'm  fanatic at trying to be " perfect" I have learnt I have a long way to go.
But it did not dishearten me too much and I am still entering into  the Toby awards.

pma2003

I want to thank everyone for their honest opinions as I'm relatively new to the bear seen.. I've  mulled over the entries for the past few years and I sometimes wonder if I'm talented enough to enter.  But I've bucked up the courage  this year and set myself a challenge to at least try.  And it's amazing how you can challenge yourself.  I started designing this weekend and each pattern developed into someting new.  Now I have a whole bunch of criiters to make along the way, thank goodness for Ebay.(only kidding).  I want to wish everyone else Good Luck.
P.S. What is the Golden Teddy??

pma2003

I'm very tempted to attempt that new technique.
I'll keep you posted.

pma2003

He's just "Knock" down gorgeous.  Okay where did you obtain the material.  I would love to experiment with some fabric.

pma2003

Thank you all for the info.  I have to get to work and CREATE, CREATE and CREATE.

pma2003

For your first bear, you did great!!  My first bear had and still has her leg on backwards.  But it's okay.  You'll learn much more and I'm sure you're already planning on making another one.

pma2003

Can anyone advise me as to the cost of the fees for the 2007 Toby submission. (
I guess I need glasses to spot it on the website !!)
Thank you so much

pma2003

How precious they all are !!
It's amazing what talent we all have and how creative we can all be.

pma2003

I have to admit I was a little stressed at how I was going to turn the feet inside out.  My daughter challenged me and I told her you can almost do anything if you set your mind to it.  As for seeing My eyesight up close is perfect but for distances I HAVE to wear glasses.  Up until now the smallest I had created was 3 inches tall.

pma2003

DSCF0001.JPGI just wanted to let you know I've just completed my first Micro Minature.

She stands a mere 1 1/2 inches TALL and is called Rosalee.

Thank you
