Wasn't there someone that was looking for this book? I can't remember but I somehow ended up with 2 copies so I've listed on on e-bay.

My first bear was about 2 years ago or so & made from some leopard print fur (it's all I had) it was also my first attempt at designing a pattern
Thanks so much
thanks!
Very cute! The bear as a whole is great, love the shading on the face. The paws look great too, I've always wanted to try the stuffed toes.
Ok so I've been on the hunt for apparel wadding but no luck. Does this have a different name in the US? Not sure if it's the same thing as quilt batting or not, but can't find any info.
Thanks everyone for all your help. I drove around to all the Wal-Marts in town again & found 1 about 30 mins away that still had it. They said they are getting rid of the fabric there too but it will be about 3 more months before it goes. The girl in the fabric area thought that they might still be able to order it for me if I held on to the upc/bar code so I'll try that
Oh my god! the 4th picture down with the Koala in getting it the tub is the cutest thing I've ever seen. Looks like he's thinking "ahhhhh that feels good"

    Ah that is so cute!
This was a custom order. I've never made a needle felted flamingo before & the long legs where a bit hard, & it was kind of hard to get him to stand but it all worked out. He's about 6" tall counting the long legs
needle felted wool over wire & painted glass eyes
what about using dyes like drink mixes or kool-aid, so there are no chemicals? Or would it still be a bad idea to get the fur wet? I've got a few white rabbit pelts that I was wondering about dying.
Did you try Walmart on line?
For me I usually can find it on line when they stop carrying it in the store.
And you can have it shipped to the store for no charge or to your home. However to your home there is a charge. But if you really want it, it might be worth the small charge.
Hope this helps. :)
yupe tried wal-mart.com no luck
just looked at CR crafts site
sadly only 12oz bags 10lb or 25lb boxes. I really only need the 5lb box at a time & can't really afford the other. I would really love to find the morning glory fiber fill because I've been so happy with it. Anyone know any sites that sale it? I keep looking but have had no luck, I even looked at Wal-Mart.com but maybe I'm missing it
You can try CR crafts, they sell it in larger amounts, in economy and premium I believe. Have you tried a Hobby Lobby or some place like that.
thanks I'll try CR crafts I have their catalog somewhere too. Yeah the Hobby Lobby here only sales polyfil & just bags no boxes
yeah well the trouble is I was getting it from Wal-mart but sadly they stopped caring it & fabric as well (all 3 of the Wal-marts in town!). The hancock fabrics here only sales polyfil
so no where to get morning glory.
Ok so I'm looking for a 5lb box of fiber fill, i go though bags way to fast. The only stuff I can find around here is polyfil which I don't really like. I love Morning Glory fiber fill but can no longer get it around here
anyone know any good website that sale it by the box or maybe another brand I can try? I've looked online but no luck
Ah cute I love the red one & the little panda!
Great idea on the sticky tape! I've also found the spray glue can be a pain to work with
and the fumes get to me
I've been using glue sticks but I think I'll try the tape.
I've always read not to use the iron-on lining (like pellon) because the chemicals in it can have an effect latter on with the leather (back of the fur). This might work if the leather is untreated but leather from like a coat has been treated. But I've never tried it.
Big hugs Jodi  how everything works out for the best
Nina
Cool idea! I joined (hope I did it all right)
Wow he is fantastic . Just incredible! Was it hard to do the armature in the fingers? Thats something I've been wanting to try.
Hugs Nichole
It was a bit of a pain but by the 2nd hand I had it down I think. But I don't think I'll be doing too many with the fingers like that because it did take forever
added it to my site under links. Another good free website builder is bravenet for anyone that doesn't have a site. That's what I use, just bought the domain name I wanted & it's hosted for free with bravenet, there are adds but other than that it's great!
Thanks so much! I joined! I'll read up on how to make one & let everyone know. I've made them in the past but forgot how LOL
Does anyone know if there is a teddy bear webring for artist out there? If not would it be something other people would be interested in? If there is not one already & other people like the idea I could always start one. If you don't know what a webring is it's basically links that rotate (a ring) of related sites. You have to put a little html code on your site to get it to work up it's really easy & is a good way to get traffic to your site.
Gosh, I'm blown away! Beautiful needlefelting with so much detail too.
Is he based on somebody/thing or is he the product of your imagination?
Regards
Lisa
Thanks! It was a commission from someone of their character
