Hi all,
Some weeks ago I was looking for help with ideas for a mermaid - well here is the finished product to see what you all think of her - her name is Madison and I am so hoping the lady who ordered her will think she is okay - hard work though
I would be pleased to her what you think truthfully please
Anne
Hi Deb - I like your existing name too
but waht about maybe Debutant Bears??
Anne
Shari - thank you soo much for my wonderful Christmas card
and sticker!!
You were my very first card to arrive and have pride of place under my tree
Have a wonderful Christmas time
Anne
Don't know if this will help but maybe if you rub a little beeswax on the nose and then buff a little - I have found that a little wax like this will smooth down the embroidery thread (spreads it a little to fill gaps - however maybe try it on another try out nose embroidered on fabric first!!
Hope someone else comes up with a better suggestion
PS tape aroudn the nose first with masking tape!!
Anne
Fran,
Is this the link to this beauty - has her dress changed a little from the photo here?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mohair-Teddy-in-V … 5643415465
if not then I cannot find her either
Lots of
Anne
Christmas tastes like whatever I want
This has ranged from macaroni cheese with jelly babies to cream of chicken soup with custard creams
You see I have lots of food aversions and allergies so I eat whatever I feel like eating
Once I made a real traditional Christmas dinner for my mum and dad and my kids (years ago now) anyway my dad said - 'what one earth is this?'
when I presented the first course which was home made cream chicken soup(my kids loved it!!)
Anyway never made any guest a real christmas dinner again
Kim
What kind of effect do you think she wants
If you want circles then you could 'paint' the dye on
This bear is called Century Sunrise and I painted the fabric with dyes of graduated colours to give the sunrise effect - so maybe that would do ?? Draw bear pattern first then paint dye - wash after then cut out bear etc
Hope you get on well doing the bear and I look forward to seeing the final product
Anne
Yes Yes Toes would be wonderful
Does your mind picture have claws??
I wish I could draw - I just get in there and cut and sew away - not a designer per se a bit of a nip and tuck person me
Will look forward to next picture updates
Anne
