This is really cute and I will try to find a good postcard from my part of the world.  The Gingerbread man loves the desert.

Just a thought but maybe you could run a heavy thread down through the top of the head to come out between the legs and then back up through to the top of the head.  Like a thread joint and then attached the key ring to that.

I don't have the problem of quality time with hubby but I have the opposite problem.   As we retired almost 6 years ago and are together 24/7, I do all me work in the craft room.  That is the "me" time for me.  When we were working I would do the the finish work in the living room in front the tv so that we could have time together. 

Note: Now if I just could keep the kitty from thinking he needs my attention all the time. :crackup:

I work in synthetics and have a rather large amount of fabric.  I just l love the feel of the furs.  There are times when I just walk by my stash and rub the fabric or pull a piece out and then can see the bear I want to make from it.  I am always looking for new and different furs.  My daughter was visiting a couple of months ago and she said you sure have a lot of fur why do you need anymore....she just doesn't understand our love of furs.

I haven't posted a picture of one of my bears in a while.  This is Bert, 14 inch rust colored faux fur bear, 5 way jointed with locking black eyes and nose.  He is available on my website if you care to take a look.

Congrats on the new little boy.  Boys are great, I had two of them.  I had a girl too in the middle but was always outnumbered with all the males in the house including the dogs, cats, rabbits and all the other animals which always seem to be male.

That is really neat.  I had to look at everything.  Great job!

All the challenge bears are great.  Everyone came up with something different and unique to them.  I was just in a challenge on another forum where we had to come up with a fiber box.  Not any two were anything alike or of the same type of fiber and all very unique and interesting.

I did this set because we had two boys.  They were always together when the boys were little and then the teenage years came and they grew apart but when the boys became adults with families of their own they became friends and not just a father and boys.  We all live far apart now but when my husband got sick the boys were there in person or on the phone.  Fathers never seem to get the attention that Mothers do yet they are the role models for what the sons will become.  Bless all the Fathers of the world.
