Hmm not everyone knows I have two tatoos - one on the shoulder of a Unicorn with a star and the other on my thigh is a huge dragon - well okay not huge but 4 x 4 inches is pretty big
I am allergic to carbohydrates (yes that includes chocolate which makes me come out in bumps if I eat more than a mouthful!!) Vegetables mainly make me sick ( as in yuck sick) although I do like potatoes - however mostly they bring me out in bumps tooo - for years my arms were so scarred - the food gave me bumps - I scratched the bumps till they bled and then the scars - so now I avoid lots of things - oh yes one thing removed or quietened my allergies - when I was carrying my daughter - bit of an extreme constant cure however
Panic attacks I can relate to - I get them sometimes too and the dark days/nights can really make me down - but I hate the doctors so I will 'bear' with it!!
but does anyone get rage attacks ?? My best cure for them is to be alone and scrub a floor or go mad cleaning!!
Oh well after all that probably everyone will think I am a nut !!
But honest I am okay in patches

Hi Estelle,
the supplier I know of in the uk who seems to stock Stephanies long pile from time to time is on ebay her ebay id is melsbears1 - shop name Melanies little bear shop - you could also try bear country - different fabric but they do some mini microfibre, then there is emmary bears - not sure of their address but if you google they have a web site - there are others like Christie bears
Hope that helps
Anne
He is completely Adroable - what a pity about the allergy - I spend most of my evenings covered in fur - thank goodness it is carbohydrates I get itchies from - I cna live without chocolate not without mohair

OOOH< there was a design for a bear that held hands, free pattern in the teddy bear review magazine. It was for the Charity fund raiser. did you see it. I am sure I still have it. The bears were designed to hold one anothers hands.
That would be too sweet.
Kathy
No Kathy - there are few places who carry the non uk magazines in glasgow but if you could tell me what month the edition was I could try and find it :o)
Thanks for the suggestion
Thanks Karen :o)

Yes I have had a couple of 2.5" wedding couples used on the top of cakes - I attached them through their feet with craft pins through a small hand cut wooden plinth.
I have tried before with magnets in paws to try and get bears to hold things or clasp their hands but magnets seemed to be ineffective through the ultrasuede - maybe they were not powerful enough
I will be trying some new variations over the next six months though as my daughter wants a set for her wedding next year (daughter being daughter however - would like a few to choose from
) one thing I would love is if I could get the bears to claps paws with one another

Thanks ladies Dilu, Melissa, Louise, Sandi, Sue Ann, Helena
So glad you think they are fine - was a bit of a rush and by the end my eyes were drooping somewhat!!
But worth it when I saw the expression on the face of the girl who ordered them when she opened the box!!
Melissa they are about 5" standing - I do a smaller version at about 2.5" - next time I complete a set that size I will post :)
Helena you have had me laughing for ages - just the picture of smoke off the sewing needle is doubling me up in stitches

Hi Jenn,
Sassy Bears and Fabrics has lots of sizes for mini bears including a variety of bead sizes - I use invisible thread and I don't think it can be seen (of course that may be my eyesight )
Also from time to time on ebay.com I have seen eyes under bear making supplies - I bought 2mm Onyx bead eyes from someone there - they are supposed to be better as they are completely round - some other beads have a kindof tube like shape
Hope that helps a little

Anne
Hi Daphne,
I hope this does not sound too silly  but if you have discs for 3 joints then had you considered using two of one of the other sizes you have for the legs?? I have done this in the past maybe I am just a bit dumb but it seemed to work - but I am sure others will have excellent suggestions cos everyone is soo innovative here -Best of luck with the bear and your show at the weekend
