OMG! I can't even imagine seeing a bear out of my kitchen window!
Fanastic read! I can't believe how many have visited the auction!
I was thinking of taking the "Shoot - Digital Photography for Doll & Bear Artists" course on Ebearz Uni. Has anyone else done it? Was it good?
I've had a digital SLR camera for about 6 months and still don't know how to use it properly!
Great tutorial Lisa, I was planning on having eyelids on my latest bear - I've never done it before, so your explanation has helped me a lot
Thanks for letting us know Peta, I'll have a look next time I go to Spotlight!
I had a 10 day auction once and the winning bidder said she nearly went crazy waiting for it to finish! So, I've never gone that long again  . I find 3 or 5 day auctions the best.
Thanks Iva and Sandi for your offer of help, I sent my translated email to her, but she never responded....so we'll just leave it at that for now.
I loved looking at all the photos, thanks for posting them
I always sew in front of the tv and only when my little one is asleep as he gets into my bearmaking stuff!
Love everyone's pictures!
This is my little work space in the corner of the spare room, more of a storage place really - I don't actually sit there and sew (I always sew in the lounge room)
I have a little photo tent set up there for photographing my little ones.
p.s. Lisa, I love IKEA stuff too - my desk in the pic is from IKEA and it's fantastic!
Congratulations Karen!  Beautiful doll
Sarah, I'm so glad you finally have your little Pippin, what a sweetheart The pics of him in his little jumper are so gorgeous!!
Sounds like you've had a great time in the past few weeks, I'm happy for you
Lisa - I have a question, hope you don't mind. How do you add a banner to your etsy shop? I can't find out how to do it anywhere.
Update: Found it!
I love browsing Etsy, but haven't sold anything on it yet - maybe I'll give it a try!
Congratulations Lisa on your Etsy sales! :)
I agree, I think it would be good to have Etsy links under avatars too.
Great job Peta, he's going to look great when he's finished!
I use tweezers too and it always works, as long as the opening is big enough
Bronwen & Chrissie, yes you're right, there can never be too many teddy sites! Each site has it's advantages and I'm a member of several.
Chrissie, I've just sent an email to join your site too
Thanks Bronwen and Wendy for your suggestions! I checked babelfish and it doesn't seem to have english to polish. But I found another website - www.poltran.com - I translated my email, so fingers crossed it makes sense for her!
I have a lady from Poland wishing to join my website, she has sent me a photo, but her email is in Polish. I need to be able to tell her how to pay her membership fee etc....
It's a long shot, but does anyone know Polish? It would help me out a lot.
Thanks
I've never even seen your site before Chrissi! It's a bit similar to what I've been trying to do with my website  I wish you the best of luck with it and I'll be joining myself soon
Wow, love all the "beasts" here !Kathy, your little one just tugs and my heart strings
Shayne, I think your cow is fabulous! Well done. Might I say too you have a very interesting background - I just read your profile on your website
Hi Alexis,
Personally I like all the teddy magazines out there, they are all great for inspiration!
This is a good book on needlefelting: http://www.bearycheap.com/ezimerchant/prod1581.htm
Do you make small or large bears?
One of my favourite books is "How to Make Enchanting Miniature Teddy Bears" see http://www.amazon.com/Make-Enchanting-M … 0891347380
I'm sure others will have some recommendations for you
Wonderful entries everyone!!!
Loved the photos! What ARE those fish? I've never seen those before.
He looks neat and well-made - I say go for it too!
