She is adorable!

He is a fantastic big hug of a bear!
No one will be able to resist him!
Beautiful job on your bear... her arms were worth the trouble!
I'm looking forward to seeing your open mouth bear.
Congratulations! That's great news! And what a great poster design... very original!
Wow!
Looks like a fun show! Your dad is quite an inspiration too... love his sheep & his positive attitude!
 Thanks for sharing the pics... nice to see some fellow teddy bear artists enjoying the beach!
I love the coast too - especially the beaches. Where we live is inland and often as windy & rainy as the coast (it's up a river a couple hours from a rocky coast, so we get some of their weather). Unfortunately we don't have the sand, the sound & smell of the ocean, the beachcombing or the seagulls.... at least when I see your pics I can dream!
What a beautiful bear!
I hope he stays away from people once he is moved.
Does he wear bells to warn the bears he's coming? Although a grizzly would probably just treat that like kids with the bells on the ice cream truck!
 That's about it! Actually, he now always carries a bear banger and bear spray with him when out in the wilderness. The bear banger is sooooo loud. I can't imagine a bear sticking around when one of those goes off!
I think your friend may have had company!
You never know! They can be hard to spot if they stay still in the bush. We didn't see anything else move, but I think this one was about a year and a half old, so its mom may have been near.
she had just had to stop her bike to let a mother bear and her 2 cubs cross the road on her way home from work!
That's good it just kept going... you never know with momma bears.
My husband has had some unnerving experiences with bears on his bike. One involved a grizzly and a black bear on a logging road & my husband was in the middle with only his bike. The grizzly was stalking him. He got on his bike & road straight for the black bear since that is the most likely to give way. Fortunately it did & he can still tell the story!
True, it is great to be able to see them in the wild... but only in Australia did I see kangaroos in the fields, a couple lone koalas in the eucalyptus and parrots & galahs everywhere... amongst other animals you can only see in Australia. I so miss your wildlife... you have so many amazing creatures there!!
 He was definitely not interested in us for dessert... he turned tail into the fireweed within a few minutes of us stopping.
Thank you!  Here in Northern BC we do see a lot of bears, but it's still a thrill to see them, especially this close! They are such amazing creatures and so inspiring. We saw some cubs too, but the only ones that were close ran so fast that I couldn't get a clear picture of them. Hopefully in August I'll get some close ups of some cubs.
Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to share this pic of a bear we saw on our day trip up north. We went to Stewart BC which is 3 hours drive north west from us... it is just beside Hyder, Alaska. We would have gone into Hyder, but forgot the birth certificates for the kids. We won't forget next time! We saw quite a few bears on the road, but this was the best picture! There's a Bear Festival there in August that I'm hoping we can go to.
Hope you enjoy the picture... he's a young bear. Still quite small. I could have almost reached out of the van and touched him he was so close. You can see that he was eating... still some green in his mouth!
She is gorgeous!!!
I love how you've tied her hair up!
Adorable!!!

He's wonderful!
You've done a great job on him whatever his name turns out to be!
Tooooo cute! I love his pose... I can just imagine him adventuring into a garden for someone's carrots!

They are both gorgeous bears!
Your collector has great taste!
Thank you Gail & Terrie!  I just heard back from Abeytu's new mom & she is thrilled... I'm always on pins & needles waiting to find out!
Hi Everyone!
I just finished another custom order bear (for a wonderful collector in Australia) & wanted to introduce her. Her name is Abeytu (Green Leaf) in a First Nations (Native American) language. If you would like to see more pics & all her details, please visit my website.
Thanks for taking a look at her!
She is lovely!
I love her proportions & colors! Great job on making this larger sized bear!!!
Primrose is soooo cute! What a wonderful color combination of pinks!!

Every one of them is so sweet!
You've been very busy!
Wonderful job on her!!! I love the way you did her fur - very touchable looking!

Tooooo cute!
