artbyrjandreae: ah..i see, but that makes sense. hope to see more of your cute creations!
wouldn't you break the needles by neddle-felting over the ball?? but, well done! nellie is quite the adorable friend.
tindlebears: say...ive been thinking..why dont we do a challenge on using the rule of threes? im sure most of you have heard of it at one point or another. basically, the rule of threes is in order to create an interesting feature, make an imaginary tic-tac toe board on a drawing paper, or whatever, (canvas, board..etc.) then, you would find the intersecting points in the tic tac toe board. there should be four of them. you would then put the main object of focus on one of the intersecting points. im thinking we could make bears that somewhat resemble a tic-tac toe board and take a photograph where the bear is using the rule of threes. i think it could be cute we can see all the original photographs that people create. what do you say?
2catkiss: thank you! i do not believe i have heard from you before. im glad that you find my bears cute.
all three are very cute!!!
you will have no trouble selling these cuties!!
she's a cutie.
hello okameinko
welcome to teddy talk. i am Medlyn, a twelve yr old girl who makes..what else? teddy bears. I suggest that if you are not coloring a large area of the fur that you use markers. For larger areas, air-brushing or dying is probably the best option. However, I have never tried air-brushing or dying, so I can not tell you anything that i know of experience. hope i was of help, even being a newbie. by the way, I would really like to see some of your bears. Please post some if possible.
two and a half inches???? holies! how do you manage??!??! i know i couldn't!
yes, it is differnet fur on the muzzles and hands, a much shorter pile. it had lots of head pieces, though.
This is Timmy.
desertmountainbear: i will look into that.
very cute!
very cuddly.
bertie is excellent.
artbyrjandreae: okay. i will try apoxie sculpt and see how it works out. but, my mom is big on shipping. she wont take any shipping order more than ten USD. im gonna have to find out the shipping costs.
teeeej: i practically begged my mom to bits the other day to be able to use this type of clay. she rejected, again...and again. i do not think it will work, and stovetop can release toxic gases too, so...i guess ill stock with air-dry clay.
WOW! quite impressive. not too much of a suprise coming from you, though. You are an expert at the teddy bear art.
i like his little addition of a bird house. and the birdy pet, of course.
Kazu is very cute.

tape paper together to make a quite reasonable model of the bear's head.

lapousmor- unfortunately, my microwave broke a while ago. (no popcorn for me..) however, the stovetop version might work. i think ill try that.
