Adorable!!!
Admin probably pulled it. It happens often on my bike board when the thread gets volatile. Sometimes admin will just pull a thread when they think there was something questionable or getting out of hand.
Ugh Brenda. That stinks! I was on Live Chat the second time when I brought up the fact that I knew OTHER people were having the same problem. After like 4 messages she was agreeable to direct me to the billing people for refund. By the time I got a return message from billing people (6 hours later) my listing was still there. So I decided I was going to be a believer and maybe they got their crap ironed out.
I hope you can relist yours and have it not disappear. It pretty much ruined my afternoon. But I had a beer and I feel better!
Those are abosolutely cuter than cute!!! I have TONS of polymer clay. I need to make some accessories for my bears!
I know what you are saying Daphne but for me with 6 kids at home and not a lot of spare cash Ebay is my only alternative...although I do submit to magazines and have a website, shows are few and far between here so for now it's ebay and Bid 4 Bears....
WOW! You have your hands FULL. I can't complain about my two kids.
I am so new to selling my bears that ebay was my first stop. My last two bears were purchased by the same lady during the last minute of the auction. But my bids were all different folks. Which is very promising to me. I will definitely check out other avenues too. I have had a few invites for other selling sites and I will look into that. But like Sarah Jane, I don't have extra cash either since I am currently a SAHM until next fall when my son goes to kindergarten. I have to be very conscientious
I would love to do a show, but know NOTHING. Luann has given me the low-down for Texas so I am visiting one next weekend to see what they are all about. I feel like I have stepped into another world and learning one step at a time how to advertise, sell, promote and follow-through with my bears.
>>>AGH! I have to go put spaghetti in the boiling water because my kids are screaming at me...!
Sassy carries two sizes.

I looked EVERYWHERE in my town and couldn't find it.
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! It's disappearing and reappearing like every 30 minutes!!!! I am so mad. It was happening to everybody in my category for listings that started today.
Well it's happened to me now. I am so frustrated I want to put a hammer through my screen. I spent 2 hours with Live Chat trying to get my listing to work. It would show up then disappear. It will link from my blog but not TT. They said, "Yes, that is a big problem ebay is having right now, we're working on it."
I told them they need to make a blanket statement (from ebay) addressing the problem as it makes the sellers look like they pulled the item on purpose. Its bad business. Makes ebay look bad as well as the sellers. My auction is ticking away, now you see it now you don't.
I counted 6 other listings that disappeared right after me, then came back after about an hour. I know I am not the only one on TT this is happened to. I now feel your pain and frustration. I am just in a sit and wait pattern praying the listing sticks.
Run a humidifier and drink more water!
Really good tip, I think you're right. When I am not biking (trails too muddy right now) I totally slack on the water. But when I bike I easily drink a gallon a day and more if its hot. Plus the fact we are running the heater constantly. My face even feels like sandpaper!
I was thinking about this very topic today. I LOVE vintage looking bears, the antique, center seam gusset Steiff bears. But my bears take on an anime look. I do like some anime, like Peng Peng bears. I didn't mean to make an anime bear, it just came out. As a kid I really liked Hello Kitty stuff but my folks would never buy it for me, they said it was way overpriced. So as an adult I bought a HK wallet and Badtz Maru coffee cup. Also as a kid I loved the vintage looking Pooh. When they went all bright colors I didn't like it. I think I was meant to live inside a Frog and Toad book...or Little Bear. I am already thinking of my next vignette for my bears...I stay awake at night and wonder aloud. it's very disturbing to my sleep. I must be tired, I am losing my mind here.
There are some bears on this forum I would LOVE to buy, I just don't have near the cash and they are well worth it. I should start a fund and save for one!
Wow. I JUST got off LiveChat like 30 seconds ago. They were able to solve my problem. I am sorry you had such a time with it. My problems weren't as involved as yours I dont think. I couldn't get the total count of bids on a sold auction, which I knew had more than a few. They fixed it.
One of my favorite books was "Uncle Wiggely's Adventures" has anyone ever heard of that?????
OMG!!! I HAVE an antique record (78 speed?) and storybook of Uncle Wiggley. I HAVE to get it out of the box and take a photo for you.
What is a good way to joint the arms and legs?
I string joint with upholstery thread. Thread the needle, uneven ends, no knot. I stab the arm and go through arm, body and other arm. Then I loop back into that same arm, through the body and original arm coming back where I started, both ends of thread will meet up. Tie a knot, then go back through (one thread at a time) the arm, body and arm again with both threads and tie the ends together. Bury the ends into the arm and snip. I use a 3.5 inch needle so I can make sure arms and legs are even on both sides. If you use a short needle its a guessing game and you will end up jabbing a hole in your finger from pushing.
Then take more wool and cover up the dents in the arms where your "joints" have pulled the limbs closer to the body.
Here is my favorite. I love this book today. Its falling apart though.
I remember looking at it as a kid, the illustrations are so rich. I even had one of the drawings enlarged to 24x36 and put in a frame over my daughters bed. Brings back so many memories.
Some others...
Frog and Toad - all of them
A Birthday for Francis
Billy and Blaze - all of them (I was fascinated with the pencil drawings)
I find I wash my hands MORE when I felt which doesn't help. I feel like I am a nurse or something. I don't want anything to come in contact with the fibers. I am going to have to get some gloves and try Bag Balm overnight, EVERYnight.
I have to add that JoAnn has the nicest employees of any craft or fabric store I have ever been in. And I have been in a LOT. I don't know if that is the nature of all JoAnn's or just the one I shop. But I drive twice as far just to go there, passing Hancock, Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Although I frequent Michaels just as much and they have a nice staff too. JoAnn is old-school friendly.
I also found out that my JoAnn is moving (a little further ) and they are making it a SUPER JoAnn. They tell me it will be as large as Target! I am okay with that.
My fingertips are so dry they HURT. I don't want to use lotion while I am needle-felting for fear of the ingredients altering the wool fiber. What do you all do?
Yes and remember JO-Ann takes those coupons as well. :)
You mean JoAnn takes Hobby Lobby coupons? Like Bed Bath and Beyond will take Linens-n-Things coupons and vice-versa. Cool.
I get my fiber here...and I have taken a class there too.
and here...
Yes, pokies are no fun, never NEVER look away while you are poking. Trust me.
Good call. I get those as well. Another good place is Hobby Lobby, you can get coupons online worth 40% off almost weekly. i bought a dollhouse kit with my coupon! Ahh, just one more project I need.

I've heard of this title. I thought it was a movie??? MMMmmm???
Wendy
Yes, but the book came first. I have not seen the movie. I bet its hilarious.
A good JAB with a felting needle will take your mind off of it. It does'nt do cures though. Bit of a bugger that.
LOL!!! No kidding. That'll wake you up in a second.
Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs is a scream. I laughed out loud reading this book. Its a totally kinky, freak show of fabulous characters. Unbelievable its a memoir. Or so "they" say.
Hey Bobbie, that looks like our setup when we shoot photos. I am always nervous one of my kids are going to walk by and snag one of the light cords!
My son bounced his Hulk ball in the kitchen once and it barely touched my husbands camera (he set it down for like one minute - it was my sons birthday and we were snapping pictures) but it was enough to send it to the tile floor, smashing a three week old $1500 camera. Ouch! We spent $400 fixing it. Kids.
