23 inch customer? imagine a baby handling a credit card! its a funny thought. im sure the customer will definetely like her. good job.
Tammy-thanks for the info, but it seems the local craft store does not sell apoxie sculpt. just my luck...
teeeej-my art teacher informed us that it was okay to do it once or twice in a bake oven, but after that it will start to toxidate the oven. so i don't want to make my mom have any cooking issues. I just did a search and i found out that some people leave sculpey under the sun to "bake" for a few ours, and it works just as well. has anyone ever tried this before? sounds kinda wacko to me...but it would be swell to find out if it actually works.
oh, and i found this, too (answers my question) -
Bake all beads at 240 degrees. DO NOT BAKE AT A HIGHER HEAT TO SPEED BAKING TIME. Baking clays at higher temperatures can produce a toxic gas. To prevent this, use an oven thermometer to regulate the temperature.
Does anyone know an air dry polymer clay that can be used to make claws and noses? I don't want to use an oven bake brand because those can have bad effects on the oven, and they may be not be able to be used for cooking anymore. I have searched and searched, but I haven't been able to find a brand that is water-proof and can stick to fabric. Thank you! Any thoughts and opinions are welcomed.
quite the lil' cute fluffy friend anyone would like to have
say a hello from me to peter rabbit.
thank you off the paw! i just finished sewing a bear today and will post him? she? up soon. i like the results though. and i sure do hope summer comes soon. im kinda tired of this foul weather due to global warming.

I have in-the-works new lion cubs. A pair of them. By selling Musa it will prompt me to get going on these new projects and finish them. I have to be surrounded my my animals...or I feel naked.
:P
naked? haha..i hand sew everything, so i can't always keep on schedule with what i'd like to be finished. you must be a very fast hand-sewer or else use a sewing machine. when my aunt saw that i hand-sew everything, she was devastated. her first words were: You hand sewed everything?!?! she promised to get me a sewing machine....but so far she hasn't got to giving me one. But i agree, when you are surrounded by animals it can be plenty fun.
very impressive. and very realistic!
what a spendid job you have done.
millie: haha.. well i just happened to have sum pretty green fur lying around, and st.patrick's day is already over. so, i just added sum long pink fur, and watermelly resulted. No watermelons? that's kinda..less satisfying. In New Jersey, I can pretty much buy watermelons whenever i want. lucky me i dont like watermelons but my brother and sisters wil chug it down like candy. everybody thinks its wierd i dont like them, but i just don't. At least i don't have a problem thinking I am wierd. TTFN
hey...isn't Musa in your profile pic? :photo: u must REALLY like him. huggable friends are the funnest friends to have.
i don't use those dyes. If you want to make it a different color, it's much easier just coloring it with permanent markers. It saves lotsa time.
quite the vibrant and jolly teddy. anyone would be able to see that.
i see why he is your favorite.
quite the angelic pretty one.
thank you, but for right now im just testing the prices and balancing what people will and will not buy. if im really lucky, maybe ill sell. TTFN
how cute!

. Anyway, this is Watermelly, inspired by Mr. Watermelon.
She is made of lovely faux fur, and has joints for posing. She has brown glass eyes, and instead of giving this girl a little honey once in a while, why not watermelons? hehe..
