Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

I've just added Perrido to my Juniper Bearies. This is the third clown in my Circus series and I hope you like him.

I also received an email but declined as my international charity work is mostly bear related.

I do from time to time make teddies for auctions to raise funds for Cancer patients and their families, but I am a great believer that charity begins at home so this is limited to The Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.

I did however suggest to Jan to make an appeal to the American bear artists on http://www.teddy-talk.com thinking they would receive some help from home.

I think it is a worthy cause and deserves support.

Jane's right, it was Betty you spoke to....I wish it had been me....I have just been here in my studio downunder sewing and sewing and needle felting my poor wee fingers to the bone!!!  Mind you I did ask her if she had room in her suitcase for me, before she left!!!  She told me I wouldn't fit!!!

Totally awsome Chloe...what a wonderful array of cheerful and colourful bears.
You out so much work into your bears, I wonder sometimes if people appreciate it as much as they should.
