I have done a few days ago  bear_laugh
its the diseased looking donkey in the showcase section.

Kimblebee

I have a fiancée to pay the heating bill  bear_grin I was the sole provider for 4 years and he has only recently got a job, I think its time the tides turned   bear_grin

I respect what you are saying though, perhaps just a change of job is in order rather than just eliminating it from my life. I think I would get pretty fed up without a job anyways, Its about the only time I get to see people  bear_grin

Kimblebee

17 year? wow. That is something I would like to do, im pretty miserable in my job right now, and whenever I am there Im just consantly wishing to get back home and sew sew sew. hehehe. Dont think Im quite there yet though.

Whatever happens I hope it works out well for you, and it makes you happy.

Just know I will forever be jealous  bear_laugh

Kimblebee

Sooo cuuute. You are definitely making a big fan of me with all these dogs  bear_wub

How do you make them so fast, it takes me AAAAAAGES.... probably as Ive not been doing it so long but still bear_cry

Kimblebee

Adorable.. I may just have to make one myself  bear_innocent

Kimblebee

Sorry, bad wording on my part. Hes the first one Ive dared put photos up of.

He is actually my 3rd ted, but my first that is uniquely my creation. so I guess you could call him my first  bear_laugh

My first was using a design I found in a book, and the second was a slightly modified design from the same book. Whereas Benjamin is all me bear_laugh

Kimblebee

What and adorable little piggy-wig.

wonderful work. bear_wub

Kimblebee

Rather proud to present my first creation to you all.

I learned a lot from him, He is was my first time ever: Using armatures, Using needle felting on a teddy, painting needle felting, painting pile, and rooting in hairs onto needle felting.

I think Im still in need of a bit of practice, but for the moment, Im happy with him.

No glue factory for this donkey, he shall be hugged and loved forever!  bear_laugh

Any criticisms more than welcome. Trust me, nobody could be as harsh as my fiancée when it comes to criticisms  bear_ermm It would be nice to hear from someone who has any knowledge of the craft.

Kimblebee

Hes awesome. when I saw the thumbnail I thought someone had just taken a photo of a duck hehehe..

I was rather confused.

Kimblebee

he, thanks. It may be a while before my skills are up to scratch though.

Im sure it wont stop me from trying at least bear_laugh

Kimblebee

SO very wonderful. bear_wub

Agreed. I must admit I am a self confessed crazy dog lady.
I have a black labrador and a springer spaniel, but unfortunately they dont even live in the same county as me, its impossible to find a house that allows pets in york  bear_cry

Kimblebee

one of my favourite breeds of dog. Theyre always depicted as vicious but the only thing your'e in danger of is being loved to death.

He is very cute.

Kimblebee

Kimblebee

Kimblebee

Kimblebee

Needle felting is a dry felting technique which turns soft fluffy wool into a hard/semi hard sculpture by using a barbed needle to repeatedly stab and interlock all of the individual fibres together to form a big matt.

Have a look on youtube or something. I was quite suprised by the result when I first discovered needle felting  bear_original
