Great Idea Karen!
That is an excellent prize! Maureen has painted several of my bears and I have the paintings on my walls. Her work is brilliant and she is a very nice lady as well.
Tracey
I spent 2 weeks in Japan about 3 years ago and had the best time. I was with my daughter on a school cultural exchange as well.
Their crafts are exquisite to say the least.
Great idea Sandi!
Yes I am going and I am madly packing as we are leaving on the weekend!!!!!!!!! I hate that nothing is organised feeling!!
I will look out for Sophie as well!!!
And don't forget to vote in the competition!!!
Well done!!!!!!!
Or he/she is a crazy scammer..... you may never know!
I did think of that Daphne but they have been registered since Oct 06. That was what made me suspicious in the first place.
But wouldn't it be a relief and put a titch of faith back into ebayers for you if he was for real and won one of your auctions?
Totally agree!!!
Thanks Karen
I did respond via my ebay account. It is the only way to respond to any question on ebay.
I was wondering if anyone else has received this sort of email in the last few days as I thought is was very suspicous.
cheers Lisa
So far on I ebay I have had no real problems but today I received an odd question. It sent me warning bells!!!
Dear megelles,
hey there, What is the fastest you could ship? Thanks a lot
The person had zero feedback and never had bid on an item. I responded but with held my email address.
Has anyone else had any odd questions?

For mohair try using a stitch length of about 1.8. If you are sewing a synthetic or plush fur you should trim your seams and increase your length to 2. On very thick fur it is better to hand sew as the finish is much neater. I do suggest using double seams on larger bears.
Another great hint is to zig zag your seams first, turn right side out and brush the fur out of the seams and the turn back and sew with a straight stitch using the edge of the zig zag as a guide. Also a new needle ever 8-10 hours of sewing also helps.
Well done Lisa on 300 posts!
Hey Lisa
I agree we should start a club!!
It is very funny with the Lisa's here in Australia. Within 250klms of me the another 2 Lisa's live - both are internationally known as bear artist's.
When I was at school I was the only one out of 800!! As an adult I know about 10 ladies named Lisa all around the same age.
ps both daughter's were named Kim!
Thanks Shelly for making me smile.
A good friend of mine turned 50 today and yesterday my lovely children said that I look older than her.
Lisa- they were a great group of ladies - 2 mother and daughters and 2 named KIM!
Sue Ann - you don't need to take classes but it would be fun to get together and share techniques.
Michelle and Tracey - We did have fun!
Yes Patsy - it did help get my mojo back and thank you!
Gemma
I bet that you are counting down the days.
You should try and get to the Sydney Teddy bear in April!!!
Hi Everyone
I just wanted to share my weekend with you! I was invited to teach a bear making workshop in a city about 2 hours from my home by the owner of the local patchwork shop. It had been over 6 months since I had taught a class so I felt a little rusty. The ladies in the class were very lovely and the smiles at the end of the class were absolutely priceless and it reminded me of why I love teaching bear making!
You have done a great job! Your workmanship is improving with every bear. They are really good and as a Bronco supporter myself I am impressed! Not so sure about the Manly bear but that is only because I don't support them!!
Thank you Jane!
I can't imagine having that much snow and the icicles are spectacular. Yesterday we had 40 degrees celcius (over 100 degrees fahrenheit) here in Brisbane and spent most of the day in the airconditioning or in the pool. All i can say it was HOT!
Thanks Judy for photo. I was amazed by the amount of snow in the back ground.
Daphne
I am feeling for you! It is so frustrating! My daughter made me sticker for my diary that said 'I hate my computer' as I said it so many times last year!!!
Me three!! I would love to go to!
The same thing happened to me late last year! It has taken me months to get back on track. The only thing I don't have is my emails and address from outlook. Please remember to back these up as well as your other files. I use to rely on this to track orders extra but that system failed with my computer
Daphne - the makers of your software program should have files that you can download for vista. i actually stay with XP but I do love the 2007 microsoft suite. it is very easy to use ( Now this may sound like i know what I am talking about but i don't - the IT staff at my office are great)
Last week end I bought a 500gb External hard drive to back up all the computers in our house. it came with software and is about 15cm x15cm x 3cm. Cost was $150 AUD.
Well done everyone!
me too please!
