Thanks both of you I'm pleased to get a nice comment about his face as it's the first time in ages I've made a bear without some serious needlefelting! I may add felted toes and pads in the future though, as I think his paws are still a little plain...
Here he is with my cat who is modelling the same bum proportion XD
Thank you, yes I think you'll need a few extra layers of blubber given the temperature here right now! He is...about 12 inches sitting, I'd say? Not measured him yet...
Have a good show everyone! I'm not exhibiting this year as my new course starts soon... I may try and make it down as a visitor though Good luck!
Good luck! I was in your shoes last year, have a great time!
Oooh, love them all but especially that little guy with the scarf Paula
Hi all, I finally managed to get my bear pattern finished
I've been working on this design (where the head is jointed to the front of the body) for nearly two years, so I'm glad to finally get a bear I feel I can show pictures of! He's going to be my entry into the BBAAs this year, along with my hare 'Jack'.
Hope you like him?
Thanks everyone :)
It's for a wide band screen because that's what I have: I don't know how to make it work for both sizes I will upgrade it eventually with the help of a friend... until then I will expand the colours further...
Thank you!
Thank you! That's great news, took me forever to get the links running...
Cool! I'd wondered about sculpting the eye brows in this way... did you find the apoxie very sticky to work with??
I think it's just a posh way of saying 'I sculpt things out of fabric'?
Grrr, I hope you gave them a piece of your mind! I walk a so called 'dangerous dog' occassionally and he's a lamb, but because of attacks like that people panic when their dogs are near him, which makes him tense in return, so he has to wear a muzzle even though he'd never do anything... better safe than sorry...
Phew!!
I am no HTML guru, nor Javascript Master, but at long last I've managed to update my site The old one was designed for 600x800 monitors, it was so old!
(sorry it's huge??)
I hope it's working for all the other browsers out there? The only thing I can't work out is where to put a 'home' button... I was trying to make a tag around my banner sloths neck but I have to call it a day before I go HTML crazy :D)
Thanks everyone!
That sucks! Don't give up complaining to the movers, and hunt down the charity shop too: you've paid them to get yout stuff from point A to point B and if they've lost boxes then they haven't done what they were paid to do.
VERY adorable! Thanks for the link!
He's gorgeous, well done you!
Congratulations, and good luck!
Thanks everyone! Sorry I didn't reply earlier, I didn't see any new posts in my e-mails
I am very pleased with him but a bit nervous about his auction... I guess we'll just have to wait and see? I like him but that doesn't always mean everyone else will
I LOVE that big nose!
Thank you Clare He is a bit shy I think, also a bit contemplative: I like to think he looks like a 'people watcher'
Adorable! Makes me want to make a sloth pin cushion
They're great! I especially like your bunny...
Hi everyone,
It's a while since I made a new sloth: Hugglets was a bit of a burn out for me! I hope you like my new guy: his name is Merle He's 14@ top to toe, with a special back heart in cream mohair to show he's a boy ;)

Very clever and talented lady! Jack is right super. Hugs, Jan
Thank you Jan! Sorry, I didn't see your post until now
He is absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! So much character in his face. Attitude! Well done!!!
Thank you Needlefelting is strange to work with: I can only hope that all future hares are a nice as this one
Thank you Joanne I'm so glad you think he's sweet, thanks for the compliment!
