Yeah, I know.  Poor Dixie.  Oh and BTW, she's a girl.

wubbiebear

I'm listed as Jessie Lynn Nuchols Robinson.  If you can't get there I'll link you to my profile.  I'm not very active on there, but if I could contact bear people I would live on facebook.  I haven't posted my bears on facebook, but I'm thinking about posting Bob there if I can figure out how.  If you don't have the same name as you do on TeddyTalk, just send me a message telling me who you are so I'll know because I can't see your pics.

wubbiebear

I can't believe I did that.

I hope that's the right one.

wubbiebear

Thanks.  He's very fuzzy and cuddly.  *Hugs Bob*

I don't worry about it.  I just think it's hillarious.  For example, I just saw someone with a rabbit named Hartley and my brain immediately pictured my big bear named Hartley.  Now when I try to visualize what my bear looks like, I just keep thinking of my bear every time I see the post.  It's just a weird thing with me.  And I don't think I could give two of my bears the same name because they're like my kids and it would just be weird to me to have two kids with the same name.  Although I have had several bears and plushies named Floyd after Floyd Cramer, lol.

wubbiebear

This is going to be a weird thread, I know.  Does anybody else get a weird reaction when someone posts a bear with the same name as a bear that you have in your hug?  Maybe it's because I can't see the pictures, but when I see this I always picture in my head my bear that has the same name.  I'm not sure what I'd do at a bear show if I fell in love with a bear that shared a name with another one of my babies.  I know this is an unusual topic.  Sorry about that.

wubbiebear

Can someone please tell me how I can find the bear artists and people who are into bears?  When I typed teddy bear into the search it gave me some kind of ap.

wubbiebear

This is my latest bear, Dixie.  She is made from a fur vest that someone gave me.  I'm pretty sure it's faux fur.  I've been gluing on noses, but it fell off, so I'm thinking I may try to get someone to show me how to do embroidering (is that a word?).  I have to link to another board, but hopefully you can see her.

wubbiebear

I just subscribed to the RSS of your blog, or at least that's what I think it was.

wubbiebear

Thanks, guys.  I'm glad you like him.

wubbiebear

How do you follow blogs?  Do you have to use Blogger for this?  I use Wordpress because it's easier on my screen reader.

wubbiebear

I got bored and decided to create a blog for my favorite teddy bear.  I'm writing it like the bear is talking.  It's just something I'm doing for fun, although I may plug some of my bears and I'll give plugs to other bear artists.

wubbiebear

Oops.  Looks like we may have to talk to the pastor's wife about that one.  She took the picture for me and I don't try to edit photos.

wubbiebear

Oh blast!!!  I didn't know that.  How about this one?  Sorry, I can't post pics here.

If you can't see it, let me know.  Thanks.

wubbiebear

I would like to introduce you to Bob, who is available for adoption.

wubbiebear

Maybe so.  I just hate to waste all that thread.

wubbiebear

So his face will feel hard like a porcelin doll, but his body will be soft?  I'm just trying to get the picture in my head because I can't see it.

wubbiebear

What do you mean by porcelin faced bear???

wubbiebear

That's what I do.  I'm not sure what happened there.

wubbiebear

Just tell them you were chaneling Minney Pearl.  She was known for leaving the tags on her clothes, lol.

wubbiebear

That's only happened to me one other time.  Should I keep it attached to the bear while threading or cut it off?

wubbiebear

Can I fix it now or do I need to get a new thread?

wubbiebear

Here goes another basic question.  My needle came off the thread when I was trying to pull it through to make a stitch.  What should I do?  I've got quite a long piece of thread here and I don't want to waste it.

wubbiebear

I finally figured out how to thread a needle.  For those of you who don't know, I do not have eyesight, so that's a hard part of sewing.  Now if I can just figure out how to do those pesky patterns. *Does a victory dance*

wubbiebear

Congratulations.  How exciting!!!
