No new progression to report. I have spent rather a long time this week (all my free hours actually) working on some clothing for my current project. I've never made any clothes before so it's a bit hit and miss really. Anyway I finally decided yesterday that I hated what I'd done so far and now have to start afresh, ho hum! Still I have to say I'm having a ball. Bearmaking IS so much fun.

OH WOW!! Tami, your panda bear is already just too scrummy for words and Paula, I love the colours on your 'soon-to-be' bear.
It's so great to be able to see the bears at different stages of their creation.

Hi everybody,
Well I haven't started my clown bear yet but I've been thinking a lot about what I'm going to do for him. I have him pictured in my mind and have gathered together a small stash of the basics. I cannot wait to get started. Hopefully in about a weeks time, just as the kids break up from school.... arrrrgh!.

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing everybodies creations and it was really hard to decide who to vote for in some of the categories. They are all such wonderful creations.
Well done and good luck to all who entered.

Where on earth did you get those facts from?? Fascinating (your comments cracked me up too). Thanks for the laughs.

Lisa
Tami,
Wishing you the best of luck. Not that you'll need it however, I'm sure that you'll be just perfect for the job.

Gail, another super lil bear! I've never made one so small, they must be soooo fiddly. you've done such a great job (again)!
ABraggAboutBear (what a great name that is), such wonderful work too!! Rufus is lovely.
You guys are so speedy. I must be the slowest bear maker on this planet. I've been working on the same bear for what seems like forever (a couple of months at least). For my clown bear I'm going to have a go at using the machine, it's just gotta be quicker that handsewing everything. Sigh!
I'm going to shopping for fabrics next week so I'll post a piccie of my selection asap.

Lisa
Ooooh Gail, another fabulous clown. I don't know how you make them so fast. I haven't even decided on a pattern or got any fabric yet.

Well OK, I've tried to resist but simply cannot. I love clown bears and so it would be great to have a go at this challenge. I hope that you don't have to be of a certain bearmaking standard to have a go? I'll give it my best shot whatever. I just need to finish off my latest project and then I'll be all systems go, should have it done by the end of September then.
Bring on the clowns!!
Best regards
Lisa
Jodi,
So sorry to read about this. I sincerely hope that things work out for the best for you and I'm sure that your future will be very bright. Take care.
Kind regards

I have ordered from this site before and the length of time to deliver depends entirely on whether they have the particular eyes in stock. The two times I have used them it has taken 2 to 3 weeks (IIRC) to be delivered as on both occasions the eyes were out of stock. I can say that they are well worth the wait however.

Such a wonderful wedding gift, simply gorgeous bears.
I wish your brother and his wife to be all the very best for the future and hope it goes smoothly for them on Friday. Rain keep away!
Kind regards
Lisa
Your first bear looks really great!! If you hadn't said I would never have know that it was your first. I love how you have done the eyes, he has a really sweet expression.
Does he have a name yet?

Lisa
Wonderful looking bears!! You have made excellent jobs of each and every one of them. What a clever girl you are.
Spook is super cool, I really like the look of that fabric.
