I love making big bears,I'm workong on a 36" bear.I am very impressed with the painted,plastic eyes.The shading is just right and I think it would look nice on the feet and paws.Great bear,lucky girl to be getting him.

Oh  my,I should just erase that whole post,"swett" was supposed to be sweet and there are a whole bunch of other spelling mistakes of which I am embarrassed.I had no business posting while my brain was not working.I started a teaching job yesterday,just 20% (1 day a week) but then I am on call to fill in anywhere in the county but I am supposed to be "off my feet" to let my leg heal and I over did it yesterday.Then my kids dragged me to town(actually,I drove because they are too young) and by the time I got home I was in pain and worn out.
Anyway ,please disregard previous post and I wanted to say ,Danni is so sweet!

Aww,thanks Danni,your so swett,oh my gosh,I'm so tired  and the meds I just took for my legs must have kicked in and I can't spell.i tried fixing but now i'm just going to try and getb it right.I think I spelled my own name wrong over on the bears fro sale when I left a message about your adorable bear.Now I have to get more info from my Mom about het  aunt.Her name was Nan,she was born in Scotland...... oikay cos,I'll have to pick this up tomorrow.Please excuse my brain,it seems to be asleep.hugs,shareo,see wrong again Shari.

Speaking of funny,I wasn't sure if I should mention this but J.D. lived about 5 min away from where I live (no I didn't know him though,too young) and now he is a member of INXS.I don't know if you are a fan but our county is just so thrilled.I hope Australia is pleased with the choice.Hugs dear cousin,Shari.

Thanks,he's probably 23" but he's "big boned" :lol:I'm trying to convince her to join the board but she is "laid up " with a broken foot and may have second thoughts after I mentioned how addictive(but wonderful and educational) the board is.She has seen pictures but I'm always terrified until I get that wonderful email form the new owner saying they love the bear.Sometimes i take forever to finish a bear because I'm so scared.Silly I guess.
Thank-you Julia for your oh so kind words.I try very hard to take good pictures.His eyes are a combination of enamel paint and some metallic.I'm still experimenting to try and get the look I want.

Oh Shantell,I have a 14 year old son and I worry about him doing the same thing without thinking.My heart is aching for Brianna's family ,the family of the poor girl that hit her and for you and your son.I just can't imagine that the school or coaches could object to him attending the funeral.Where I live if something like this happens,they cancel school for the children to attend if they feel up to it.Did they attend the same school?

I will be saying heartfelt prayers.I am going to start a list,I pray at least once a day but since I joined the board I have found so many more reasons to pray.Hugs and blessings,Shari.

Yes,the clear stuff.Can be called mac-tac.You just have to be very careful when sticking to front and back because it grabs and hold the paper.I have ruined one certificate by being in too much of a hurry.It works out to be cheaper than laminating.

At least we are honest Clare,lets just think of our wrinkles as "wisdom spots" you know like "beauty marks",soon everyone will want some

Great idea Sue Ann.I use clear shelf paper to cover my certificate so it's guarded against moisture and wrinkles.Hmmmmm,I wonder how that would look on my face  Oh too bad I'm allergic to adhesive,shucks!!:rolleyes:

Deb,we have Cadbury Dairy Milk and Caramilk.I actually have two kids selling both and Jersey Milk also.About 40 bars of chocolate in the house right now and no money to buy them.Wonder if I can trade a bear for all those bars..... Try explaining that to the school

Shelli,hugs to you,big,big hugs!! I didn't know about your Mom and I am sorry that she suffers with this horrible addiction and that it is causing so much pain and heartache for your family.I'll add your family and especially your Mom to my prayers.My family has dealt with my Mom's breast cancer head on twice so far as she had a reoccurrence just ten years after a double mastectomy and although she is cancer free at the moment,it is always a worry.And yes I might add ,she did smoke for many years when I was a child but thankfully was able to quit many years ago.
