Oh, that's awful: I've only been a buyer so far and I usually pay within the hour: I think you need to e-mail them and say that you've given them more than enough time, and if they fail to reply again you will have to relist the bear... no point in being too nice about it if they've already ignored you once.
Good luck selling again! (If necessary, obviously XD)
How's this for a find:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pink-Ribbon-Colle … dZViewItem
Pink ribbon material I'm gonig to get some and make a bear dress i think.... after exams XD
Woah, is she called jenny in the American version? She's Ginny over here....
JK Rowling has said she's not writing any more kids books... to me that means she'll kill Harry off so the series isn't hanging over her head when she turns to adult fiction...
I believe that Prof Dumbledor and Harry's godfather Black were only faking their deaths
i agree: i think it was Polyjuice Potion... I can't wait to see what happens with Snape *squishes him* as he's my top favourite  Ands i want to see him as a teenager in that bit whwere we find out he was bullied by harry's dad in the film, which is also out soon i believe...
Harry's got to die, in my opinion JK Rowling cried as she wrote the last chapter, and i believe that Harry will be the last Horcrux, so he'll have to go... I also think it'll be similar in structure top the first book, where each ring of friends was 'peeled off' until he has to face Voldemort alone? I expect Hagrid will die... possibly with a ROAR
Personal favirote has to be Snape Can't wait to see what happens with him....
Yeah, they are a little slouchy... It's so hard to judge!
I had to use plastic eyes because i ran out of glass ones XD I have a few glass blacks now, but I quite like the pupiled look for these guys...
Thank you Ilze and Amelia :)
I was just looking for general sduggestions on improvements etc XD His arms seemed a little low for me, but I'm not sure on the best placement for him, as he is quite a slochy bear anyway!
Well, it arrived and I have to say, at least there's a lot of it! i doubt it's amazing quality, as it's not really furry, but more like a ratinee fisish? it 's useful as a pattern checker though, and I've been working on a bear from it today it's going to be HUGE in comparison with my usuals.... Should be nice though :P
I'll stick up a piccy when he's done. Thanks for the advice everyone!
Well, I hope this is ok as I'm not going to be selling Malibu online: he's going straight to an artshop in my home town to be slavishly admired :)
"Malibu dreams of golden sands and rock pools, sunshine and silly drinks with little umbrellas in them. Will he ever achieve his dreams?"
...I really hope so! I'm considering not selling my avatar bear and Malibu's 'pattern twin', Pina Colada, as I've become pretty attached to him whilst I've been improving him... I can't keep them all though! He's another 'weasel bear', as my friends are calling them...
two shades of short sparse mohair
Ultrasuede pads
plastic brown eyes
steel ball and polyester filling
cotter pin joints
He's pictured with my new fish, Carrot, Jasper and Harold, who came to be with me after my beautiful Moor, Bogglet, passed away about a month ago.... it was so sad....
Any suggestions?
Hmmm... should i be worried that for cat (ie partners personality) I put urine?
XD Sorry, I have a few particularly dreadful male cats :P
Oooh, and just as an additional, passing thought, maybe there could be a few more masculine bears in there too? It always seems to be put across as a female only cancer, but really men can develop it too, and it can be harder as there's less in that area to remove from a man. In England we have a 'Race for Life', which is for breast cancer, but no men are allowed to run it which seems stupid to me, especially considering all the men who've lost wives, sisters, mothers and ebven daughters to the disease... so maybe a manly side of the charity beardom could come in too?
Sorry for the waffling XD
Chloe.
XD Don't worry; vinegar is actually really good for balancing your scalps oil glands, so you may have done some good there!
I'd love to join this My bears may not be the best yet, but I'd love to donate a bear to help fighting Breast Cancer, even if it only makes a little! Hopefully by October I'll be good enough for the bear to be worth something XD please let me know any more news!
Thanks Jodi, I will do! it might be a while though as i have exames... is it ok on these forums to revive old posts?
Thanks Richy: sounds like a good rule definately! As I'm at uni and have no ironing board, it's what i usually end up doing anyway
Aww, that's very kind of you Shane! There are no sewing shops in my town, but there is a small market stall, so I'll try there first and if not I'll go to the big shopping centre nearby... unless i can't be bothered, in which case I'll definately PM you XD
Thanks again,
Chloe
Thanks Shane and Ellen
In the end i won it (surprise surprise) for just over £6, or $12? I suppose that's not too bad, and I can always use it for practises and so on! Thanks for all the advice guys I'm going to try to find some of that iron-on stuff, and if not I'll just put up with contorted critters XD I wanted to make a titanic steiff style bear, but obviously without the copyright infringement, so this will be perfect
Thanks again!
Chloe x
Thanks, me too I wanted to bid on a piece of black mohair which looks almost crimped, the way the curls fall, but I mixed up XD At least it looks nice anyway...
I think you should all see this video, if you haven't already! It's the Free Hugs Campaign, and could easily be used to remind some qustioning adults what the beauty of a teddy bear hug is XD I hope it's ok to post i here, but I say the bathing a cat one, so I assume so!

Enjoy Don't cry
The lot is here:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Black-faux-fur-bi … dZViewItem
I'm only worried because it doesn't SAY anything about the quality, but the person who's selling used it themself, so I hope it can't be too bad... It does say faux (quite obviously XD) but because I'm a twit I put a higher highest bid on it than I would have done, bcause I got it confused with another lot, so really it's my own fault! Hopfull no one else will bid, and I'll at last get it cheap :P
I'm glad synthetics are at least getting some praise! Who knows, maybe it'll be fabulous
There's duckings on our river at the moment I saw a mother duck the other day with THIRTEEN of 'em... moorhen chicks are even cuter XD
Hey all! I was just wondering if anyone has an opinion on faux furs, as I just impulse bid on a lot on ebay that I asumed to be mohair, and have now discovered to be synthetic XD Serves me right for trying to snipe a bargin... it seems like buying REAL fur is cheaper than mohair at the minute! I've read up about backing the fur with muslin to stabilise it... does it have any benefits?!
Also, is there anyway of telling the difference between the two? I bought a stack of 'mohair' a while ago, but I have a few doubts about some of them...
Thanks!
