I would love to frame the baby swan photo and put it on my wall.  It's so peaceful.

  It's such a shame how some animals are extinct or on their way to being extinct. Thre sub species of tigers are already gone forever:  Bali, Caspian, and Java.

Yes, that is Musa in my avatar.     And yes, I sure do like him..an awful lot.

I have in-the-works new lion cubs.  A pair of them.  By selling Musa it will prompt me to get going on these new projects and finish them.  I have to be surrounded my my animals...or I feel naked.

Pat- by your saying that you see me in my work is truly the highest honor...I am very deeply touched by that comment. :pray:  :pray:  :pray:  :pray:            :hug:  :hug:  :hug:   I think so many artists unknowingly create critters that "looK" like themselves....maybe it is a touch of the artist's soul that comes thru.   And that is what makes each artist piece so unique.

oh...and my dog looks like me too!!!..well, at least she does when here hair is longer.  She just had a hair cut in this picture.

Shane, it's been quite  a while since making a real fur animal.  It is so different than working with mohair and it sure does take me back a ways.

Hi.  Here's a new tiger cub made from real mink fur.  Brown, black and "brightened white" mink.  There are 51 pieces that make up this little tiger.  Her name is Indah, which is Indonesian for "Beautiful".   She's listed on ebay.

Awe your photos are very sweet.  I feel it's wonderful to have a bear friend from childhood.  You never outgrow the warmth of a teddy bear.  How unfortunate that he has lost his.   What I would suggest is to look on ebay with search words like "Vintage bear" , "old bear", and things of this nature.  You never know what might turn up that may be able to take the place of this well loved teddy. :hug:  :hug:  :hug:
