Oh Peter do watch it.

Lee Ann,
I would follow Karen's advise regarding getting your money from Pay Pal.
As far as the feedback goes and making contact most buyer know about the feedback and Pay Pal holding the money however with her low score she might be new or doesn't use eBay all that much. I would take a look at her feedback and see what her pattern is for leaving it for others. Some only leave feedback once a month, some every 2 weeks and others when they get the item and very few never bother. You will get an idea as to how to approach her. If she leaves nasty feedback when asked too then you know not to ask. If she has a pattern of leaving it every month/2 weeks you will know when to expect it.
If it's a buyer you know I personally wouldn't hesitate to ask her to post it.
Hope this helps.
That's it Sandy!
Thanks!
Maria it's not the law abiding hunters I'm worried about. It's the ones that are not so thoughtful.
I know the exact location of her den had not been disclosed and I'm thankful for that and I'm sure I'm being overly concerned but I have seen my share of mean and cruel hunters. Please do not misunderstand. I know the good out weights the bad.
My sister owns several acres of wilderness land, private land and yet every year hunters come on to her privately owned land and kill. Many leaving the dead animals behind for us to see.
I'm sure Dr. Lynn will do his best to protect Lily and Baby Hope.
Post 3/21/10 on Lily's Face Book site.
A few days ago some folks questioned Hope’s progress—worried that she was still so uncoordinated. About 1 PM today she showed us she has the ‘walking thing’ figured out when she left the den to join Lily who was raking nearby. About 40 minutes later, Lily rushed back into the den, turned towards the entrance and blew. Something had frightened her, and Hope was still outside possibly in danger. Lily rushed back out and we heard a dog barking close to the den. We worried for Hope. Sue rushed over to and found Lily and Hope peacefully bedded 10 feet from the den.....
Again I'm grateful all is well and she is well looked after.
I hope so Maria. :)
I feel blessed to have been able to watch but I do worry that maybe it's more than Lily can take.
She was not happy in my eyes either. :(
I hate to say I have had bad dreams of one of the dogs getting baby Hope.
Before anyone says "It's natures way" please I know all about nature but I still think the hunters should stay away.
Oh that is just too too too cute!!
I saw an episode of AFV (America's Funniest Videos) and they had a full grown Old English Sheepdog in one of these bucket swings and it was hysterical!! The owners were swinging it back and forth and quite high I must say!!
I laugh until I cried!
The dog was loving it and it was obvious it wasn't the first time this dog was in a swing!
Did anyone else see it???
Oh so very cute!
Lets us know where you do decide to list.
I would love to bid on it. It would look nice on my book shelve in my bear room.
I have some I use for display at the holidays that are so accessorized you can't really hug or cuddle them. They are quite beautiful though.
Then I have those that are cuddlers and 2 Herbie my dog owns.
Yes he has 2. One made by Sharie Reetz (a cat) and a little Anime bear by Cathy Forcino that are his and his alone. However you would never guess by looking at them they belong to a dog. They are not chewed up nor do they have any pieces missing. As soon as I took them out of their shipping box he claimed them for his own. Even though I tried to take them from him he sought them out and took them back. He keeps them tucked away in his blanket there to cuddled with as he wants. And I can assure you they are cuddled, loved and kissed (licked) everyday. :)
As a "Self Proclaimed" collector with several hundred bears in my collection these are the only 2 he has insisted on owning.
People often ask me with a look on their face like I must be crazy, why I would let my dog have an artist bear that I paid A Lot of $$$ money for.
My answer,
Because Herbie WANTED THEM!!!!!!
I can't think of a better owner for a bear than Herbie.
Jane,
As a buyer/collector I know of this and I make sure I post when buying an artist bear as soon as I pay if the seller is below 100 on their feedback. Otherwise I don't worry about posting feedback until I receive the bear. That way I can leave a more accurate comment about the bear.
Talk to your collector. He or she shouldn't have a problem with it.
Yes they did.
What worries me the most Sue is the hunters with dogs.
She is just too little to defend herself and I worry about Lily leaving her at times alone.
This is all so silly of me! Not like I could do anything to change it.
Here in the USA we do something similar as well.
Glad to see other countries are too.
Thanks for the link.
Nice article.
