Hi bearies!
Not even a week has passed since I told you about my "lawyer trouble" and here´s more...I went to visit my Grandma yesterday and with a poker face she told me she´s ready to file a lawsuit against me - you see, she officially gave me her house (not even a heritage, but we made a contract I´d take the house and let her live in it till the end of her days) - well, that was some 6 years ago and now she wants me to visit her more often and maybe to go live with her - but there´s a problem - whenever I come to her, she calls me names and she said she´d sew me over the house if I don´t shoot my two doggies (she´s always hated animals - she even killed my kitty when I was about 10 years old, not talking about my pet rabbit she made dinner out of when I was about 5) - of course, I would NEVER do such a thing - I´d rather be homeless..so now it´s here - she filed a lawsuit stating I don´t treat her properly..she also filed one against my Dad (her own son!!), so I´m not alone in it and Dad is willing to pay the lawyer for me. But it makes me sick anyway..and it´s not even like she´s senile - her brains work just fine - she´s always been like that:-( Gosh, is this normal??? I mean, I´m actually thinking about signing the house back to her, because I find suing my own Grandma disgusting.:-(
Get well soon!!!!
Maybe it will go at the right time and you´ll have the best time ever! best of luck,
Magda
Hello!
This is Mr. Mandarine - I´ve finished him just today. But did I have a lot of trouble with this fellow! I tried some "alternative" stuffing, which didn´t work quite right, so I had to redo and restuff the whole head...and the comments I was making during that are not publishable..But thank G-d, he´s done. How do you like him?
Hello!
This is an addition to my X-mas crew - Holly and herlittle friend Tiny.
here you go:-))
WOOOOOOW!!!! I love the wings and I lvoe their facial expressions!
That´s what I´m gonna do! I´m just not really looking forward to it - it costs money and energy.
Hi girls!
I´m on the vergo of going nuts..I had a beautiful morning yesterday, walked my dogs and all that and when I was sipping on my coffee happy and content, I heard my doorbell ring. It was the mailman saying I have some mail..Cool, I thought, must be the mohair I ordered..but no..it was a warrant from the local court:-( I wasn´t aware of anything I´d done, so I opened it and there it was...I used to have a car and paid the car insurance, justlike anybody else. When I´d sold the car, I cancelled the contract, but somehow it got lost (maybe in the mail or something) and now they´re sewing me over not paying the insurance for I car I sold more than a year ago:-( The sum basically equals my monthly pay (you see, I´m still in college, so I work 6 hours each evening and then 12 hrs on Saturdays and Sundays). I´m sooo bummed..Well, i decided not to pay because of THEIR mistake, so I found the piece of paper proving I´d cancelled the contract and ran to the company. Well, they apologized and deducted the sum I owed, but I still have to pay for the lawyer..and that´s most of the sum. I mean, how can somebody earn what I´m working for ao hard by just writing a stupid three page letter?
And it had to happen especially now, when I´m moving out of home and need to buy the basic things like dishes and a fridge and and and....
Hello!
This is my mohiar little baby bear..once I find a suitable bell, he´ll carry it around..that´s why I calle him little bell. How do you like him?
hahaha..actually you´re right..but comparing to all the internet dirt you can find online...we´re still nice girls.
I´m sooo sorry. My heart is breaking for you. I´m sure of one thing though, she KNEW she´d raised a great daughter.
SOOOOOO cute..and the broomstick is cool...she´s even better than Harry Potter!
Hi Tracy!
I´m really sorry and I sure know how it feels. My uncle passed away recently and even though I am a "big girl" it hurts.
But anyway, maybe I have two sweet bears to send to your two boys..it´s always nice to get unexpected mail from far away, isn´t it it´s just an idea how to cheer your boys up a little. Might be stupid, dunno...
Hmmmmm..no address on the website..I think I ll have to share my idea with Tracy herself.
That´s great!!! Or maybe I can just pick out two beatuiful bears where I work ( you see, I work part time in a toy store and we really have bears that are WORTH giving). I´ll check if she has a website and an address on it. I think it would be great if the kids get bears or just cards or something from all over. Off to do the search..
Any tips what to make mouse whiskers out of?
BY the way, I forgot to explain - the costumes are from Vallachia, which is an etnographic region in southeastern Moravia (the Czech Republic is divided into Bohemia and Moravia - they differ in many things). It has always been a poor rural mountain area, so the costumes are very simple. The Vallachs themselves are said to have come from Romania. And -as in anywhere else in Moravia - a popular form or entertainment was music and dancing. Each region has their own dances, but overall, the rules are prettymuch the same. When a couple wants to dance, the boy has to walk up to the band, start singing and then clap his hands. The girls then decide if they want to dance with him or not (depending on his singing and overall appearance) and if they do, they´d walk up to him after he claps. Then they´d get into the position as shown in my bear couple while the boy is still singing. Then the band starts playing and they can dance.
So I NEEDED and open mouth for this singing boy:-))
Thank you guys!!!! Verrrry helpful. Actually, I couldn´t wait and tried it myself and it worked OUT!!! Not perfect, but knowing it works is worth something!!!
I´ve also made my very first needle sculpted open mouth bear...he´s in the showcase (Vallachian couple)..I just had to try, because the whole couple should be as true to the tradition as they can.
