IMG_9189-copy.jpgI finally have something new listed on BearPile. I had been hoarding everything for the Kansas City Jubilee show so haven't listed anything for quite awhile. This fellow was not at the show but I had a numer of these PumpkinHeads and they proved popular. So had to make more to sell online. Each one is unique--different fabrics and faces. They are a lot of fun to make. This fellow is Tobias the PumpkinHead.  If you would like to see more pics you can visit him here:

I think your head is wonderful! Don't hide it in a drawer.
I melt beeswax in foil over a tealight candle. Saves the mess of melting on the stove. I use the small boxes from my nuts and bolts I use for jointing as stands to prop the foil up on over the flame.  Hope that makes sense.
I really do think you should finish the bear.

OOOH I am loving all the dog and kitty pics!
I still didn't get newer pics of Toasty loaded on the computer. He was nuetered two days ago and he isn't supposed to run and play rough for a week. Thats a laugh! I have had to keep a closer eye on him when he is with my other dog Wookie. As his favorite toy is Wookie whom he loves to jump on and pull on and wrestle with. I am amazed what Wookie puts up with!
I actually did get some bear work done today  bear_original
Donna, Yes I will be in Kansas City for the Teddybear Jubilee! look forward to seeing you there!

Have you ever had times when it was really hard for you to squeeze in time for bear making? I thought it might be fun to share your reasons of why.
Here is one reason I haven't been able to make as many bears as I would like recently.

IMG_8666_copy.jpg
His name is Toasty.
This is a picture of him right after I adopted him. He actually looks quite different now. He was 8 weeks old in the picture. He is now almost 4 months. I'll post another pic once Ive loaded them onto the computer. They are still all on the camera.

I haven't been posting on here for quite awhile. Though I have still been popping on to read and see what is going on every few days. I am not a very talkative person . I just don't do much posting. I usually only get on the computer at night just before I go to bed and can easily find myself nodding off while on the computer. So I don't spend much time on it.
I signed up for facebook a long time ago but never actually did ANYTHING with it. Absolutly nothing!!!
I am still making bears though not having as much time as I would like to do so. I am doing a show next month and wish I could get more bears made than I will probably actuallly be able to make. So I haven't posted any new bears in a long time as I am hoarding them all for the show.
But TT is a wonderful place! I have learned sooooooo much here.  I have noticed lots of people seem to be missing like me, but I also see lots of new names.
I'll try and post more as I do love this site.  I;ll even post a new topic and show you one of the reasons I have been away.
