Nancy ~ What's your daughter's first name? I do believe in the power of prayer, and will remember to pray for your daughter and her hubby and of course, for the new (again) Grammy! (Congratulations!)
Whatever size comes out of fat quarter or 1/3 yard ... that's the size bear I like to make!
Seriously, my teds usually range 12" - 17". I can't do itty bitty either Shelli ... don't know how the gals (or guys) do it. As it is, I have to sew in the seat where my magnifier is.
I would suggest (and what I would do):
~ Check New Members to say hello to newbies.
~ Check techniques to see if a title interests you.
~ Mark all others as read (since you've already checked on our sick ones).
What would be "important" to me, might not interest you at all, so I wouldn't presume I could tell ya what important stuff you've missed.
Wow; loaded question SueAnn! I listen to lots of different genres, depending on my mood, what I need to hear, the weather, where I am, how my diet is going ... you get the idea. Contemporary Christian, Contemporary Country (no twang please), Soft Rock, some Hard Rock, Salsa, Jazz, Oldies in general, miscellaneous other. Can't stomach heavy metal or real head bangin' rock.
Favorite artists? Oh several. It's safe to say that if a song gets my foot tappin', head bobbin', tears flowin', brain thinkin', heart thumpin' or breakin' ... I'm hooked.
Hmm ... I have embroidery scissors. Where can I get one of those eyes?
Hey thanks!
GORGEOUS! Why don't you write an SOP here Ms. D'Paula on muzzle trimming!
YAY Louise! Good to see you. Do what the doctor says!
Anyone heard from Shari?
Excellent!
Shantell ~ So glad your surgery went well. Wish there were a button here to make great big type so you could read easier!
What?! Not your cat SueAnn?
Too late ... we all think of him as yours now. What's the cute little fella's name anyway?
Jane,
Am glad now that the dog woke me up! Thoughts and prayers are with you. Please hurry back.
Please Lord, take good care of our Jane.
Eyeball ... definitely. And "feel".
Sherri ~ Blaspheme? Nooooo!
NASCAR = National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. There are three series. The Craftsman Truck Series is truck racing (smaller size like S-10 I think. I'm not 100% sure cuz I don't follow that series. The Busch Series is stock car racing for newer, less experienced drivers. The Nextel Cup Series is stock car racing for the "big boys". Sometimes Cup drivers participate in Busch races for experience and I presume $$$. There's a Nascar 101 section on the www.nascar.com site.
I've only been to a few races, but I watch nearly every one. I started watching in 2001 and just got "hooked". It's one of the fastest growing sports (fan base), if not the fastest growing. For me its appeal is the variety of possible outcomes (compared to football, basketball, etc.) and the vast number of factors that can impact the outcomes ~ the track, the weather, how the weather affects the track, the tires, the engines, the car setup, the wrecks, decisions about coming in for gas, etc. But most of all, the dynamics of the drivers on (and off) the track. Look out! I also love that the age of drivers ranges from 20 to mid 50's. Most fans end up with a favorite driver or two, and of course, you need a couple to cheer against!
Coke sponsors several drivers. First thing after the race (if their in an interview), you can bet they'll have a Coke in hand!
The best thing about NASCAR ~ the commercials!
Somewhere here on the board are instructions for eyelids. I haven't tried them myself. Trying to work up the nerve. Try searching eyelids.
BUT DAPHNE ~ He's soooo good looking ... and he can enunciate! He's a wonderful (professional) spokesperson for the sport, and is (I think) quite humble for all his success (i.e., admits they're not in it this year because they simply don't deserve to be).
I've had a lot of disappointing moments - that's what makes you a stronger and better team and driver, Gordon said. People only look at me as racing in the NASCAR series. I've had some far more disappointing seasons than this one. Life is still pretty darn good for me right now. Racing is not everything. I've put my heart and soul into it like this team does and we want to win. But we also know at the end of the day, that it's not the number one thing in our lives and you got to take the good seasons with the bad seasons, and we've had a lot of good ones.
Actually ... I like several drivers, and don't really have one standout favorite. I'm neutral about several and only have one that really grates on my nerves (KH29).
You're right though, Nascar is big business though, and I imagine the pressure from sponsors alone is enough to make them all nuts.
Where do you race?
Oh Dapne ~
Deb NY or Debny ... that's me! But would you still love me if I tell you I truly DO like JG24 also!
Quy ~ Can't post this as reply to Tammy, so am trying as a new topic. Hmm?

Tammy ~ Here are the three sites Julia provided:
http://www.cosgan.de/smilie.php?wahl=6& … ng=english
http://mysmilies.com/
http://cliparty.by.ru/animated/
With the first two, just click on the item you want to use and copy the code that appears in the little box, then paste into your new topic or reply.
To use the cliparty.by.run items, I had to right click, and copy the URL from Properties tab, then insert an Img command here, and paste the properties in.
This code:

Equals this picture:
So ... I saw that Gina had requested Quy change her Username, and so I emailed Quy and asked for a name change from JJ48 to Deb.
I was mortified when I initially registered and ended up with a password to an application (at work) for my Teddy Talk username. Ugh. I tried to change it, but couldn't associate more than one username with my email address (duh).
THANK YOU QUY!
P.S. JJ (Jimmie Johnson), 48 (his number silly girls). Go Jimmie! (Any other Nascar fans?)
Amanda ~ Punchy could also be glassy-eyed, punch-drunk, screwy, slaphappy, spaced out ... you know that feeling when you're maybe a little tired but not necessarily sleepy ...
Sometimes with me, that feeling empowers my mouth to say things that normally my brain would prevent it from saying.
Shelli's "working" definition may be a bit different.
Deb
Head, very firm (not rock hard though). In the head I have nearly ready to go here, I can press a finger in almost 1/4", but not quite. I guess that's my definition of very firm. Arms and legs similar. Belly, slightly less.
