I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. Being a doggy owner myself, I know how precious our little furries are to us - mine is more like another child than a pet. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Big hugs Ali x
sign..... so cute - I love the first picture of Uno with his ears flipped backwards
The love of my life is my rescue dog Barney, he is a mixture of a lot of dogs, but the lady at the puppy rescue said he was found with his brother who definately had alot of dachshund in him (unfortunately he didn't make it ). Barney is medium sized with long legs (abit like Bambi) but his muzzle is def dachshund and he has a fab howl!!!! Never heard anything like it!!! Couldn't have a lovelier dog and so intelligent.
Thanks for sharing the piccys, Ali x
Oh what little cuties
These photos have brighten up my day - thanks for sharing them with us.
Hugs Ali x
Thanks Karen, saves me trying to phone Hylands direct. Will try the book Lynn recommended.
She is such a scrummy bunny - lucky mum (would you like to adopt a sister?)
Seriously, I love your creations, I would love to be as clever one day.
Hugs Ali x
Thanks Lynn I will put that on my shopping list!
Hi, as a newbie I have decided to try a few bought patterns first to see what I like and to gain much needed practise , so far I have a few lovely ones I've bought and lots of patterns from bear mags, but there is one type of bear I have been looking for and I have finally found it looking at me from a page from a old copy of Teddy Bear Club Int mag Sept 1999. The pattern is called Oliver ('an attractive 16" two toned, fully jointed bear') as was sold by Teddy Bear Warehouse Ltd, Sittingbourne, Kent. Unfortunately they only advertised a telephone number which no longer exists. The pattern was designed by Hyland Bears (which I believe are based in Australia). I've tried all types of searches on the internet, but only come up with a telephone number for Hyland Bears. Can anyone help - perhaps one of our beary friends from down under?
The pattern is of a young cub bear with dark cream body, inner ears and muzzle and dark brown head and limbs. Its the short inset muzzle I'm particularly after - I have read some of the posts on the subject, but I need to see it in picture form - perhaps someone could recommend a book with a separate muzzle pattern in. (hope this rambling makes sense!!!!).
Many thanks, Ali x
Hi Kim, I've just registered at last! You know I love all your creations and these are just soooooo cute! I think the green one looks like a Pickle (he's a pickle gerkin colour!). I can't see the brown and white panda properly at the back, but I like the name Muffin or Cappachino. Keep up the great work
Hugs Ali
