I used to have 2 pit bull mixes and they were the sweetest dogs you would ever meet..... till they had to protect. I do not think John Mayer was funny at all and I liked his music. No more of his music for me. He is a jerk in my eyes.... 
Could anyone tell me what kind of awards are there out there for teddy bear artists? I know there is the TOBY award, but what else is there and can people in the USA apply? I will not be entering anything for a while but would love to plan ahead. Thank you all

Sorry if it upset you Sheryl but the purpose of posting the photos was to make sure that people would click on the link to sign the petition which has now over 1,100,000 signatures from all over the world. Hopefully that is doing something to stop the artist from repeating this cruel act again which is what he has, in fact, been invited to do.
I am sorry. I am just a HUGE dog/animal lover and I cannot deal with looking at pictures like this. I am glad you want to help, but a petition is no way to stop this. There is no way that any animal control would allow this to continue, they would not need signatures. I am sorry if I was too harsh in my reply. It just is not something I expected to see here in Teddy Talk.
You are so lucy. It has been a drem of mine to go there.

I started to look at the pictures but it made me sick. Next time please put a link instead of posting the pictures. I agree this is sick.... and I do not understand why something was not done about him. This should go to a humane society or something along those lines as it would not be tolerated. Please, next time send it to someone that can do something instead of allowing this artist pictures to be sent to others. This is exactly what this artist wants.... publicity. Thank you

Oh My Gosh! You might not want to use brown fur again but I think he is soooooo cute!
He is a non jointed bear. I thought I had marked the back so when I tucked his head inthe body to sew it i must have put it in backwards :crackup: I still cannot look at it... :crackup: Oh joy Oh joy....... :dance:
I have been making some bears (general bear pattern) using scrap material... My bedtime bear was all sewn up and I was sitting down, relaxing, and stuffing it.'.. All of the sudden my cute little bear became the Exorcist bear. 
I had sewn the head on backwards!!! :crackup:
I still have not removed the head to fix it. I am not sure I can stop laughing enough when I look at it to do so.
I would love to hear other OOPS storie....
