Hi everyone! I finally have a new bear to post!   
This is Potter the Panda and he is now on BearPile.
He is made from alpaca fabrics with ultrasuede pawpads. He is a smallish fellow as he stands a bit under 8".
Hope you like him!

Go for it!!! You have nothing to lose. If it doesn't turn out the way you wanted you will most likely still see what it is you need to try differently the next time. We do learn from out mistakes. Believe me I have made LOTS.  But I think you really need to try different things. Otherwise you remain stagnant and don;t ever advance.
Plus I think it's fun trying new stuff. So Go have fun!!!!!!!

I REALLY really really wanted to go to this show but just couldn't get myself to fly there. I have only done a couple of shows that I drove to. I think it would be so hard to pack stuff in small suitcases and too expensive for me to fly.  And this one is just too far for me drive to. Sure wish there was a show here in Colorado!!!!!!!! Most are sooooo far away.
I am sure those of you going will have loads of fun!! Let us know how it goes.   I'll be green with envy.

You could test things out by getting an old stuffed animal at a thrift shop, redo it's nose as you plan on doing for your friend's teddy. Then stick it in a hot car for a day or so and see what happens.  I know that noses that are just waxed will melt in hot cars. Let us know what you come up with and how it works.
