For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
Oh I love Sedona! What a great idea to meet and have lunch! You'll have to stop in Texas next
Oh fun topic.
I would have to say my fav tools are my hemostats. I have large to small & I use them for stuffing, turning, pulling needle though tought spots, holding cotter pins in place and just about everything else! Best thing they are only a few bucks on e-bay
http://www.edinburghimports.com/shopping/FabricList.asp
Edinburg has Alpaca too it's right under mohair on the list
That put my hopes to rest if you can't fold the white latex backed stuff. With the pinks and purples you are interested in are you after faux fur? I may put something together for you and then see what you have left.
Yeah I'm looking for faux fur, mohair, or mini bear fabrics in those colors.
Oh I forgot to say I would trade for other non-teddy bear related things too.
Anything for needle felting (wool, needles, etc)
Watercolor stuff (paints, brushes, paper, etc)
Anything for sculpting or doll making (clays, doll eyes, tools etc)
Other art supplies like Primacolor pencils, canvas, etc.
Asian fabrics? *_* I loooove asian fabrics xD
Cool! Did you get my PM?
Hi you are so generous  i am interested in the white fur with the latex backing just how hard is it to turn? When you say a large bear how wide do you think that the opening may need to be? I uld swap some unusual colored synthetic fur but it may be easier to take part in paying for the shipping if you want to give it away. I can't believe how generous you are but it should come back to you multifold! I may also be interested in paying for this fur if you could perhaps send me a photo
I'll try to get pictures of everything. The stuff with the latex backing is weird so I'll get pictures of it too LOL I really don't know if it could be turned, I tried making a polar bear from some of it that was about a 20" bear with 4" opens. I got the head & body turned but gave up on the legs
I also have tons of nice silk Asian fabric like silk brokaid(spelling) in lots of colors and prints. Some sheer fabric that are nice and sparkly and I found more fleece! Lol
Hi Cindy
I agree that Etsy is a great place to sell there is also buyhandmade.com might give it a try too
I'm looking for any odd "non-traditional-teddy" colors like pinks, blues and purples or I can always use more glass eyes and small joints :0 If you have anything like that just let me know or other wise let me know what size box or envelope you would like and I can pack one up & they let you know the shipping. I wish I could afford to pay for shipping but I'm so broke right now
lol
Ok so I've been doing a bit of cleaning and I have come to the conclusion I have a lot of @%# fabric!
I would love to do some trades, swaps or give-a-ways. I'm looking to trade for mini bear fabrics, burlap/tweed, canvas, or other supplies like eyes and joints.
On the give-a-ways as long as you paid shipping I would stuff a box or envelope full of fabric.
I have boxes and boxes of felt
Some of this is the "craft" felt squares and some of it it the thicker stuff you buy by the yard. I have too much to list and just about every color other than pink & purple. I have green, brown, white, cream, red, black and so on.
Fleece:
I have a ton of "lamb" looking fleece. Same fabric as this bear here but with out the embroidery http://enchantmentsart.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d1sqip3
Cream/off white about 10 yards or more
Tiger print I think there is about 10 yards so I can cut this down if more than one person wants some
Pink about 4 yards
Cameo green and black
Faux Fur:
I have a ton of white and other colors like brown, blacks and creams. I would love to trade for some odd colors like pink, purples, blues or reds.
Ok this is just some of the faux fur I have. I would love to swap for un-natural colors like pinks, purples, greens, blues, etc...

If anyone wants this white fabric as long as you'll pay shipping it's free or if you want a smaller amount of it I can cut it down.
it has about a 2" pile is very shaggy and messy and I think there is about 4+ yards

I have a roll of weird white "fur" that has a stiff latex like backing so it can't be turned (I tired) unless it was a really large bear. But the "fur" is really soft and long so maybe someone can do
something with it. Now looking at this roll I think it would be too hard to ship. It's in about a 3 foot long roll and does not bend. But if someone wanted me to cut them squares of it I could do that.
Other mis. fabrics like quilting fabrics, and backing. Odds and ends like leather and so on.
Asian Silks:
I also have a ton of short black velvet (real velvet) if anyone would like some of that. It works great for paw pads and for painting. I have a 40 foot roll so there is plenty to go around
Are you asking about PayPal's buyers credit or Bill Me Later? PayPal's buyers credit works just like a credit card and has a limit based on your credit score. You can use it to pay for a purchase just like any credit card (if the company takes PayPal) and you get the item (not like a Lay-a-way) the monthly payments are based on the amount charged. I have a PayPal buyers credit line of $100 and the payments only $10 and it has a low interest rate. Bill Me Later is another company all together and has stricter credit scores for approval. It's not a line of credit but just a payment plan though what ever company your buying from. Again it's not lay-a-way so you get your item and just make monthly payments, but they normally have high interest with Bill Me Later. Hope that helps :0
I 2nd the Glycerine treatment. I've had old dry cracking furs that it's worked wonders on. Also if you needle felt you can always use the fur with out the leather for a really nice needle felted critter
I have an etsy store too. The only down side I've seen is customers also have to sign up for etsy in order to buy something (e-bays the same too) but i've had a few customers contact asking if they could buy something off etsy because they don't want to sign up for it.
Ah thanks so much Becky! Glad you like my dragons
I so wish more book stores would carry Teddy bear magazines, I subscribe to both TB&F and TBR because I can't get them here.
Thanks so much
 Wooo I just got my issue of Teddy Bear & Friends today & was so happy to see some of my needle felted creatures in there!!! I'm so happy!! Oh and congratz to the other great artist that are in this issue too
The paw on the fare right belongs to KJ's great leopard cub (sorry it was cut out) and K Paws has 2 full pages of super cute stuff and Michele Sheraphim was featured too Congratz everyone!!
Hi & welcome to TT! I make bears, plush, sculpture and art, lots of art
I've been a free-lance artist for over 5 years now and a plush artist for 3 or 4 years. I've seen a big drop is sales as of late but more from my US customers, I'm still getting orders dorm Canada and the UK and even south america. I keep thinking and hoping things will get better!
I always save every little scrap but I'm not sure if you would be interested in the tiny stuff (like 1" X 1") I just can't seam to trow it away. I have a whole bag of teeny tiny pieces. Also have you tried e-bay or intercal's bargain list? The bargain list is great for getting cheap show samples or slightly flawed mohair.
Does anyone on the forum collect TY beanie babies or attic treasures? I have a friend that is closing her store so I'm helping her out by trying to sale a few things for her (she's clueless about a computer lol) I know she has a ton and most is new "old" stock meaning more of what she has is retired. If there is something you're looking for just PM me because there is way to much to list!
Thanks for the link. I voted, reposted and twitted too
I make bears from coats & real fur too
but my bears are not as amazing as Tammy's.
 thanks hmmmm now I have to come up with ideas lol
Amazing!!
Oh I love love love her! However did you get the gold sparkly in the fabric?
