Have a wonderful trip Charlotte! Evie looks like a complete doll - I hope things with her work out for your family!
Cheryl
Hey Krista...get back to work! (cracking the whip)
Speaking from experience, sure a show is ultimately about making sales, but its also about networking and having fun! I have done too many shows where I have been so tired and stressed by the time I got there that I didn't even want to leave my room. Try to relax and enjoy your first show experience
Can't wait to meet you and all the other TTer's!!
Cheryl
We're not worthy! We're not worthy!
But you certainly are...Congratulations!
Cheryl
Well...aren't you so cute and round and redheaded!
You look beautiful and happy...don't change a thing!
Cheryl
Glad to hear you're feeling better! Any chance you're making cosmopolitans and inviting friends this time?
Cheryl
All I know is that Mindy is away until Thursday and I don't know if there are other mods. At least there aren't pictures which has happened on a couple of other forums.
Cheryl
  GREAT NEWS! CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYBODY!
What a little sweetheart! Is she all needlefelted or a mixture of techniques?
yep...really like this one
Cheryl
You are an important part of our TT family, so please take care of yourself. You give so much of yourself to others, I hope you will allow others to help you. It's important when you have to 'pour out' so much that you take time to fill yourself back up. If there's anything we can do, just ask OK?

What a gorgeous bag! I collect vintage purses too...I favour the 'sort of tacky' ones from the late 40's and I use them all the time. My fav is a wicker woven one with fake tortoise shell handles and 2 poodles made of felt and shells on the side (oh, and did I mention the shiny gold rickrack???)...so bad...and so good
Thanks for sharing!
Cheryl
I thought before everyone heads out for a great long weekend, I'd wish my fellow Canadians:
I really am sorry, it must be quite the shock...I guess for us non-Americans, we've been dealing with this kind of system for years so its just the norm, ya know?
Sorry...just can't get over the free box thing though!
Cheryl
Sorry to hear about the fall Lynette-take care of yourself!
I think its so fun that this forum has people from all over the world on it...I can't imagine not seeing snow!
Mind you, I don't think I would trade it for the 40C+ temps some of you are having.... (me sweating...not embarassed!)
Cheryl
Sounds like just the thing to get the 'creative juices' flowing...great challenge Paula!
I'm in!
Cheryl
What a darling baby and little girl!
Such a pretty name too...my mom's name is Josephine and its not very common...is it a family name for you too?
You certainly are blessed!
Cheryl
What a tragedy! Chris Benoit was born in Montreal but grew up in Edmonton where I live. He's always been seen as a local hero and it was officially "Benoit Day" here a couple of years ago. I guess it just goes to show that fame and money can't protect you from whats happening inside you. My condolences to his other children.
Cheryl
Did you guys go off and form political parties and hold ugly mud-slinging elections while I wasn't watching....
sorry... did you not get the memo???
I have gained so much in the year and a bit that I have been part of TT and to be honest, it hasn't even been so much about the bearmaking as the camaraderie of like minded people that I find here. Whether its of the "I need a hug variety" or the "come celebrate with me" so many people are there to lend a helping hand or a clapping one.
I haven't felt really compelled to share the bears and animals I have been working on because its been cool just to be a part of everyone else's experience.
Its in my DNA I guess, that once I find someplace that makes me happy, I feel very loyal to it and feel some 'ownership' towards it and want to protect it from criticism. What I don't understand, is people who are so critical of TT on other forums or their blogs but line up to promote themselves or their work on it when it serves them. Sorry if that sound inflammatory but its been bugging me a bit as of late so I said it.
As Shelli so eloquently said, I guess its all about peoples perceptions, so sorry this lady has missed out!
Cheryl
I wish my scanner was working properly because on my 'to do' list for this week was "email Jane and see if she's OK - haven't heard from her in a while".
I'm glad you are doing better - it sucks when your 'get up and go" has "got up and went"!
Cheryl
P.S. Yes, I do know the eyes are not straight. Neither is his smile or his ears. In fact, I don't think there is anything perfect ...
Just like me!
I saw him on your blog too and thought he was "simply" sweet
Cheryl
Hi Richy
I'm not sure if these are for you (oh :photo: 's please!) or for a bear. If for a bear try:http://www.infinitefreedom.com/internat … erman.html
You might also try the spelling of "Lederhosen" this way and have more luck!
Cheryl
It depends...sometimes I like the bear and if I like the name its just icing on the cake but often I don't even look to see what the name is right away. I did buy a bear once because his name was Orris which is really unusual and also my Dad's name!
I went through a period where I encouraged my customers to name the bear but one lady said to me that she thought that was terrible...did I not name my own children? I remember thinking "Yes, I do, but I'm not in the habit of selling my children!"
I was watching some home improvement show the other day and the guest's name was "Chloe Galillee" and I know I will use that one day for sure!
Cheryl
I believe he is "ready for my closeup, Mr. DeMille"
Thanks for sharing Roxanne!
Hi Marlys
Personally, I haven't had a single problem with PP and I have used it for almost every Ebay transaction since 2002. I think no system is perfect and I would certainly follow all their hints to keep your account safe but overall I like PP. If you frequently buy from another country, you should be aware that their exchange rate is never what the actual bank rate is so you lose a bit.
By the way...is is pronounced MARLISS or MARLEES? Just curious because I think its such a pretty name!
