Hi everyone,
I have a customer who wants one of my miniature horses as a keyring. I plan to sew a loop into his back so a keyring can be attached. But, what should I use for the loop? A ribbon? Will it be strong enough?
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Another HUGE fan of sassy's here, 99% of what I make is with sassy fabric! The colours and quality is just the best. I love the feel of the new sassy cashmere from the sample I got - I'll be ordering some of that in my next order for sure
I have an etsy shop too: http://www.cayascreations.etsy.com I haven't sold much, but then again I haven't listed much on it either but hoping to use it a bit more in the future.
Shelley Bossert of Ursa Minor Miniatures is currently forming an Teddy Bear Etsy team if anyone is interested.
Thanks
Hi everyone,
This is Duchess the cat. She sold before I had a chance to advertise her anywhere. She is made out of baby pink micro plush fur and has green glass eyes. She measures at 2 x 2.5 inches.
Thanks everyone Oh Kerrilyn, yes I remember we were going to do a swap! Let me know if you would like to do one
Thanks so much Andrea! I'm glad your step daughter likes my bears too
Hi everyone,
Thought I would show this bear I made for a swap. He stands at just 2 inches tall.
If anyone is interested in swapping bears/plushies with me, please visit this link for more info:

Looks like it was a roaring success Samantha, congratulations
"Caya" is a nickname my Dad, brother and sister call me, so I thought it was a fun name to incorporate into my business name
Thanks Patty and Sue!
Patty - I'm glad you like my cloth dolls, I haven't actually made any to sell yet, still honing my skills

Sophie - yes, I do plan on making more bunnies as I have had quite a few requests, so keep a lookout - I'll be posting them here on TT
She is WONDERFUL! You did a great job and the face is fantastic
Hi everyone,
This is "Bonnie" the bunny, she is 2.25 inches tall and a new design. She sold before I had a chance to advertise her here on TT. Hope you like her!
Congratulations Lisa! I went and voted too - some wonderful work there, I can't get over that typewriter lol:)
I've just recently had 2 bad experiences with holding a bear (something I've never done before), and I certainly won't be doing it in the future. In the first instance, the buyer paid half the amount and then kept coming up with excuses as to why she hadn't sent the second half. I ended up holding the bear for 2 months! In the end I sold the bear again to another buyer who also stalled with her payment and I ended up holding him again for a further month! He has finally now been adopted and off to his new owner tomorrow, pheww! lol:) I really wouldn't recommend it unless you have clear layaway terms set out.
Gorgeous pics and very cute dogs! It's so nice to see them having fun running around isn't it? We have a reserve literally just outside the back gate of our place so my dog Woodley has a run nearly every day over there and he runs himself ragged and comes home very happy
Thanks Christine
Hi everyone,
This is my latest bear "Candy", 2 inches tall. She sold almost immediately after I put her on my website this morning. I thought I would show her here in the Showcase. Hope you like her
Thanks Shane - I didn't realise this issue has only just been released. I'm in no rush - I was just curious to know
Does anyone has the latest issue of tb&f mag? I'm just curious is any of my pics are in there (namely a bear in the tiny ted feature and a cat in the spring feature). I'd love to know if anyone has a chance to let me know.
Thanks so much
I know from my personal experience whenever I have tried something really different with my bears, they don't tend to sell as well as my ordinary bears. One of the very first patterns I ever designed is still the most popular with collectors and one of the simplest too!
Having said that, I think it is good to experiment every now and then to keep the creative juices flowing
Fantastic news Sandra! I read about it in the latest issue. Not sure if my bears up to the challenge, but I am hoping to enter
