Big warm hugs Melissa. My husband and three kids left on Friday morning to go visit relatives and I stayed behind to paint the kitchen and look after our new kitten, our other cat and dog and my husbands parents cat     I've been so busy all weekend but I do really miss them and yes , I miss my 11 year old daughter the most, she's my baby.  
They should be back anytime soon now and I still have two walls to go, then cleaning, detaping etc. I'm on a short coffee/give some love to the kitten break.  
Don't worry, the time will pass so fast, they'll be back in your arms in no time        :hug:

Great tip Sue Ann,   :hug:  I have never used steel shot because I was worried about customs and since somone posted about their bear being ripped poen, I'm glad I don't  I think I would like to try the gravel chips..... remember when people used to use kitty litter , I don't think they do anymore but I'm not sure why.     

Someone posted in the vegetarian post that Quorn is a meat substitute but I'm not sure what it's made of or what vecon is.
I guess I'm no help but I'm interested to find out  :redface:

If it's fibromyalgia, please share what you find out as my doctor refuses to go ahaed with a diagnosis on paper and tells me it will ruin my life if I get a proper diagnosis that is documented  :redface:  I'm having an x-ray on my back to see if that might be causing my back and leg pain but she just doesn't care.

Help!!!! I use a Wal-mart brand  low calorie sweetner but it doesn't say aspartame or nutra sweet , how do I know if it's safe? The ingredients are Dextrose, sodium cyclamate and silicon dioxide ( okay, now having written that, I'm sure it can't be good) Renae , feel free to pm me.  :redface:   :redface:
I use one packet twice a day, it's super cheap, $1.60 for a box of 100. yes I have unexplained leg pain and health problems and allergies. HMMMM, I think I'll stop using it.

Well, I went for my interview , I was a wreck! There were 144 applicants and I was one of 6 chosen for the interview.I interviewed for both a grade 3 and 5 position. I studies my guides and curriculum all weekend. When you arrive, you have ten minutes to look at the questions they will ask and think of a response. I wrote my answer points out as fast as I could and tried to fit everything in. I was trying so hard to answer all the relevant info that I thought of lots more I should have said afterwards. I didn't have time to express how very much I want the job there or to say I really want the grade three job as the grade 5 is for one year only.
I did my best and can only trust in God and what my path in life will be. There may have been more experienced , more qualified people than I am and the other teacher that has a job share at my school also was interviewed so she may get the position over me as she has been there longer.
Anyway, I should know on Wednesday and I will post the happy/sad results then. Keep sending good vibes and the power of prayer.big hugs for all your vibes, prayers and support  :hug:   :hug:   :hug:

Thanks girls, I am very sad about the bear time that will be lost, I'm thinking of trying to make smaller bears but as of yet, I've never made one I was happy with or looked the way I wanted .

Hi. Some of you know that as well as a bear artist, I am also an Elementary School Teacher. I choose to stay home and raise my children for their early years and just went back to teaching two years ago. 

The first year I substituted for Grades Primary through 7 and this past year I had a 20% job teaching grade 4 as well as Subbing almost every day.  Tomorrow , I have an interview at the school I work at to take the Grade 3 position for 06/07. I'm scared, nervous and excited.

I just turned 41 and may finally have my own class. This change will mean little or no bear making time for me    but I  need a steady income and a pension. 

All I am asking for is good vibes, happy thoughts and maybe a prayer or two said for me that I can make it through this interview and get the job. I believe in the power of prayer and will be saying prays to St. Jude for a good outcome.
