Awww, I love then nose, gives him so much character!
Very sweet
Eva, maybe you could use tibetan lamb fur.
I've found some at a decent price, take a look here please:

It is white though, but I think you should be able to dye it black.
Hope I could help, Ariane
Awwwwww
very very sweet

Peter, thanks for sharing these - most of them I didn't know and they are so interesting!
Hugs, Ariane
Hi Krista,
thanks for letting us know - I'll tell you when the package arrives
Hugs, ariane
Aww, what a sweetheart.
I think I'll give this method another try and see how it works out^^
Hi Catherine,
did it work well? I mean, I could imagine that with the tiny fur length a gab would still be between the third ear and the rest of the head?!
Hugs, Ariane
Thanks for the input, Gail.
I have thought about adding a "ear-shaped" piece onto the chin but having given the tiny fur length this wouldn't work well, I think. I was then thinking about your method but didn't know if it would work out on a small bear, it definitely sounds very fiddly - but I'll try it out!
Hugs, Ariane
Thank you so much Irma, this is very very nice from you
Big hugs, Ariane
awww, what a lovely bear.
wish I could be part of the giveaway, but I don't have a blog
Hugs, Ariane
I'm glad you like him, he's my best bear so far - and my boyfriend loves him!
I'll surely post some more pictures in the future as I have several finished ones already and others that wait to be completed (I ran out of glass eyes before), but first I'll have to take better pictures. My photographing skills suck
Hugs, Ariane
Hi Lisa,
thank you for the information.
I'll take a look at your website and will think about it. We're moving at the moment, so it may take a little longer, but I won't forget it. I have already in mind a bit of a special look so it shouldn't take me too long to decide....
Hugs, Ariane
congrats for the mention, your dragons are great
That makes me want to do a bear with a "typical" German outfit and some sauerkraut..lol
lol
that's what I was thinking about
A big "man" from Hamburg who goes to the Oktoberfest xD
Ah, okay. I wasn't sure because his eyes seem to be of a slightly different blue. Oh, and now I see that the boat has a different color lol
I love the way their little tummies stand out from this outfit *_*
Very sweet, his outfit makes me giggle. Is he the one in your avatar too or did you make two of them?
Ariane
I must admit, I'm not a fan of this sort of dogs, but your creation is really well done and realistic - although his eyes make me feel a little uncomfortable lol
Ariane
Thank you very much, Krista, I'll send you a pm.
Oh, I know this experience. I have just gone through my stash of normal fabric (for doll making) and found some unusual fabrics I didn't know I had (I must have bought them, but I can't remember) - but maybe those can be included into one of my bears....
Hugs, Ariane
Thank you Becky. I've sent you a PM
