SOLD
The little Red dragon is still looking for a home
I think 5" is the smallest for me but like everyone else I still had to do some hand sewing in there too.
2.5" Alison!!! I bet that was crazy! I would love to sew my little 3" dragons by machine to save some time but I don't think I could without going crazy...
All I can say is WOW!
love the otter ....
Why thank you! He was the hardest thing to make LOL
Hi I too love the Dragons you have a lovely collection. if you dont mind me asking i have just started with felting ( i have added muzzles and paws to my bears but would love to make felts of my dogs) and not sure on the different wools. the last lot i bought were merino, do you know if Shetland or Corridale is more fine or easy to work with, its a bit confusing. What do you use?
Oh yes i love the wings to do you make your own.hugs Susan
Thanks & yes I make all my own wings. I normally use merino wool but I've used just about everything. I love angora because it's so soft but it's harder to work with & pricey. The coarser the wool is the easier it is to felt because the ruff fibers "lock" together better, the softer a wool is the nicer the finished item will be but it will take more work to felt it.
When is says must be for sale & not sold out. Do commissions count? I do all my dragons & animals by custom order, so nothing really sold out, just not made in advance. If that makes any sense LOL
well I tried food coloring last night. I did it just about the same way as kool-aid with boiling water & mixing the dye. I then let the mohair hang out over night. Sadly the next day the color just washed right out
not sure if there is a trick to dyeing with food coloring or not. I gave up & mixed up some kool-aid LOL
I just want to give these guys a big hug! Great work
Has anyone used food coloring to dye mohair? Is it the same as dying with Kool-aid? I know food coloring is an acid dye but I've never used it on mohair before. I have dyed doll hair before with food coloring & it looked ok.
I have this machine & I love it http://www.walmart.com/ip/Brother-50-St … ay/8798084 I got it on sale at my local Wal-mart for like $99 & it's great for a basic machine. I also have a pfaff which is an amazing machine but way more expensive (this it was $600 used). It's funny but my cheaper brother machine works small things better, than the pfaff & the pfaff can do thicker fabrics
Also that brother machine has a drop in bobbin design so it doesn't "bind" as much as some machines.
WOW    they are all fabulous, you have done so many. I love the dragons especially the little one,
they must have taken a long time to make?
Thanks! I was surprised but the otter took me the longest to design & so took me the longest to make. The tiny blue dragon's pattern wasn't as hard to design LOL
Ah thanks everyone

I've been super busy with commissions. I thought I would post these all together rather than flood the forum with post.
First is a needle felted horse

A bunch of needle felted birds

2 Needle felted wolves

New little Dog
A new needle felted Fairy Dragon
A tiny plush fairy Dragon
And 2 rabbits

Oh & I almost forgot

Oh my that's just beautiful!
Ah thanks everyone. I tried to make them as close to the same as I could but there was just no way
so I'm glad they all turned out to have their own unique personalities
OK so I've been busy doing a bit of super late spring cleaning
And I've got a ton of stuff to get ride of. I listed a few "mystery boxes" on e-bay but only sold one :(
(E-bay has changed all the mystery box rules again) Anyway if anyone is looking for anything I might just have it, or if you're just looking for general craft supplies let me know.
I can make you up a large flat rate priority "mystery" box stuffed full of goodies, I'll I ask is that you pay shipping $13.95 and maybe like $10 or I can do a medium flat rate priority "mystery" box shipping would be $10.35 and just an extra $5.
This is some of what I have:
Fabric, I have 2 huge totes full of fabric, most of it is 100% cotton print, great for making bear and doll clothing or quilts. There is also so Asian silk, felt and faux fur.
Yarn, I have one tote full of yarn every color and type you can think of, even some mohair yarn
Plastic doll parts, I have no idea where these came from
Patterns, 3 boxes full! craft, stuffed animals, folk art, kids costumes and more. Some are new uncut others are vintage
Cross stitch supplies, kits, hopes, etc (something I thought I would do some day & just never have the time)
Some jewelry making supplies
Other misalliances art supplies like polymer clay, paint, brushes, etc
If anyone's interested or would like pictures or more info just send me a note.
This is just one of the many reasons I've stopped selling on E-bay. I'm guessing you have but I'll say just in case, have you thought about selling on Etsy or another site? I've had so many issues with e-bay in the past, issues with fees, return policies, shipping terms and on and on. I can't believe they now don't protect their sellers! with out the sellers where would e-bay be? I've been pretty happy with Etsy no complaints so fare but I still get more sales off my website. The new rating system is completely stupid in my opinion & I doing get how it helps sellers or even buyers.
Wow that's amazing!
Well here is 10 dogs all done!
10 more to go
Well turns out she wants to trade me for my old basic starter singer
she just wants a basic easy to use machine, because she doesn't sewn much anymore. So I'll still have my brother! But if anyone knows anything about Pfaffs that would be great!
Thanks
Yeah I noticed they where German made machines and accessories where a lot in compression to my brother machine. I've had no luck finding any good reviews on the web
