Here is my first entry into the TOBY competition.

I think I will wait a few years.. to develop my skills as there are so many talented Artists out there.

From what I can see of the lovely pink-on-brown fabric, may I ask about you cutting on the grain?

From the weave in the plucked areas, it looks as if the head pieces were cut on the diagonal rather than straight grain.
Is this so?
Do you have any difficulty sewing the head/muzzle seams?
(i.e., the seamline stretching or puckering while matching and sewing?)

Hi Bobbie

You´re absolutly right. Otherwise I couldn´t get the pile direction
the way I wanted. I didn´t have any problem with sewing the head.
I saw the tree pieces together the normal way and then I trimmed the muzzle
afterwards.
