In my editing software I can save my pics in thumnail (which is the size of my avatar) best for web (which is the size I've been using to showcase my pics) 25%  ...& up...
Do I need different software to get a size like everyone else or am I missing some important function. ?
I feel so daft  sometimes when it comes to all this.         Thankyou  Matilda

Mathilda,
I know Nancy has some free edting software on her NCTB site that others are finding successful.
But in the meantime, send your full sized image to me and I'll resize it for you. Just make sure it's size is in KB not MB!!!!
I'm on broadband so anything under 500KB will come through quickly.

Hi Matilda,
I used this microsoft download for resizing my photos.
just go to this site
Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP
scroll down to image resizer and download it.
When you go to your pictures, right click on whatever photo you want to resize and follow the prompts from there...

hugs,
Denise.
