Hi Mindy,

I had a question about the photo.  Should the photo be of the bear's face or the whole bear??

Also what size should the photo be if I send it by email?   :photo:

hugs,
Sheila

Photo format: I think a head or head/torso shot will work best, as the photos, of necessity, will be somewhat small. If the bear's full body is important to conveying your work, though, by all means include it.

Photo size: It needs to be high res, or 300 dpi. If your e-mail offers to make the photo smaller before sending it, decline. The file size should be more than 100KB; bigger, in this case, is better. I've gotten a couple of 1 and 2MB photos today. The physical size of the photo (how big it appears on the screen) should be snapshot size -- 3x5" or similar.

Thanks!
Mindy

bear_original Mindy,

I notice that on the FaceBook form, in the section that asks us to check what sorts of bears/media we do, there's a box for 'crochet'.

What about knitted critters? bear_cry

Good point -- hadn't thought of knitted. Just write it in. Same goes for any other distinct style that I left off.

Thanks!
Mindy

Thanks for reminding everyone, Amy!

Please please please send your photos and forms!

If you e-mail your entry and do not get a reply from me, please send it again. I have lost a handful of messages due to internet problems and don't want to leave someone out because their entry disappeared into cybearspace.

Cheers,
Mindy
