Renae ..I agree... I know what you mean about some girls..they have 'vacant' written large across their faces...duh!!!
It takes a personality to look like that ...that slighty snooty look is from something deep within that doesn't come from being a no brainer!!! It's called confidence..and they have it in shed loads...just hope they have it when they are 50!!
The girl sitting by the marble pillar is my niece Isabelle...she's got no aspirations to be a model..she's got her heart set on being a doctor. She takes after my sister who was once photographed by Lord Lichfield..and could have been a model... as she's incredibly photogenic.(..unlike me) but chose to go into nursing!!! She looked like Marie Helvin..and she's a bitch and I hate her...no not really!!! I just tell her she's fat and old and wrinkly now so that's it...LOL!!
Ahhh, that explains it a bit.... the models are at an age where they can look a bit underweight just from the last 'growth spurt'. Went through that stage m'self when I was about 16, and I wouldn't have believed it at the time, but then I saw a photo of myself later and was appalled.... I didn't look that thin! I couldn't
I ate like a horse, but I was also non stop on the go at the time....a blur with my Irish setter running here there and everywhere, but also I think because it was my last growth spurt. LOL, age and gravity caught up with me.... bleah
Renae sometime you'll have to beg, whinge and plead to get into the Pittock proper....the interior was incredible! I could stare at the woodwork for hours...okay, so I'll look 'vacant', but the craftsmanship was amazing!!!!
Wow! The mansion looks sooooo BIG ....hmmm...and the girls were gorgeous...Okie okie...have to go on diet NOW! No more curry puffs, no more fried spring rolls and no more peanut butter sandwich!
Seriously, Jenny...the photo shots are very good
Beary hugs

Jenny, wow, not only do you create such goreous teddies, you also surprise us with these beautiful pictures!
I like the one with the sitting lady in black best; it looks as if you were playing with the sun light!
And what a wonderful place! I´m wrecking my brain thinking about the name of it. I had an invitation to a tour while my ex boyfriend and I visited Stratford upon Avon. I think it is not too far fom Stratford and somebody once was held hostage there or so .... * thinking*
Unfortunately then I had bone problems in my feet which, under great pain, kept me from walking.
Why can´t I remember anything? I need to get me some gingko!
Please show us more pix!!!!
Gaby
Jenny, looks like you had a good day and have some hidden talent.

Gaby..It's called 'Stoneleigh Abbey'...and you are quite right it is near Stratford..You probably know more than me about the history...it's famous because the Leigh family ..who still own it today..are relatives of Jane Austen. She based the great houses in her books on Stoneleigh and often stayed there..and also Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. I don't know about hostages...but apparently Charles the first took refuge there when the City of Coventry closed its gates on him when he tried to enter and therefore he had to turn back and the owner of Stoneleigh Abbey took him in being loyal to the King. Also ...so I was told ..local children were evacuated there during the war..
