ButtieBear

Hi Teddy Talk,

I've been browsing for the last few weeks and am addicted to Teddy art.  The work and creativity I see here is simply amazing.  Someday I hope to take up Teddy art, but my life with a full time job and two young children just doesn't allow it.

I am, however, in the market to BUY 10 custom teddy bears to serve as my first edition ButtieBear.  I'm looking for a master sewer (like many of you) to work with me on this project.  I'd like to pay between 25-35 per bear and would resell on eBay.  I'd even be open to splitting eBay profits if it is agreeable to the artist.  Thank you for any consideration.

Bear Description:

The 1st edition ButtieBear should be a soft, comfortable, medium-to-understuffed bear.  I’m thinking chenille or other soft fabric.  He should be 14-16’’and be very basic looking.  His distinguishing characteristic is a red (other colors?) plaid patch stitched with thick black thread on his bean bag butt.  The patch should be positioned like a diamond per the example on ButtieBear.com.  He should have a matching plaid patch over his heart.

Other Design Possibilities:

Possible matching plaid fabric on his hands and feet?  I have a picture.
Removable patches attached with 4 buttons on his butt?  Extra patch or two included?

Thank you again.  Please send me a personal message if interested.

Bret.
