Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

I was not lucky enough to get a bear for Christmas, but I did just get one from my daughter while she vacationed in Hawaii, she has her little syrong on and a lai around her neck.  My sister also just sent me one for my birthday in January and it is chocolate brown and smells like chocolate! So that makes me happy. Love all the bears I receive.

OMG he is so perfect, I see you really are good at needlefelting, I have tried but did not pursue it for long.  Maybe when I retire.  But you did such a great job on the duck, he looks life like.  Thanx so much for sharing.

Got my list and will begin writing away, I love to receive the cards from all over the world.  I guess there wasn't any ornament swap this year?  That makes me sad, I loved doing that also.

Wow, they are all fabulous, great talent for needlefelting, I love them all. When is your first show?  I bet you sell out if it is a good show that appreciates your talent.

guess I will ad my 2 cents, I took a fondue fork with the long handle and broke off the tips with pliers and it has enough roughness to grab that stuffing and stuff.  I got the fondue forks at a garage sale so I have a set of 6 to use in all different locations of the house.  Hope this helps

You sure can needlefelt items.  I loved the Humpty Dumpty. this Santa is also great.  You have a lot of talent and I can't wait to see more of it.

So cute, reminded me of my drive in to work this am when a whole gagle of geese decided to cross the 2 lane highway, first 2 started across and as all the cars stopped, the rest of them proceeded across.  So cute, must have been about 20 geese, they are very popular here in New Jersey. In fact most times they are a nuisance due to the crap left on side walks in the parks and around schools.  But I did not mind stopping for them today.

I understand that it is very funny from someone that has seen it, but it is more like and adult bear that is kind of raunchy.  I went and saw Savages that was probably worse.  LOL

I too have enjoyed many crafts through out my life.  I love painting things, like from wood, I also paint clothespins, make fabric hearts, do tin punch, and yes even wood burning.  I sell it at craft shows, but it is not very profitable any more so I tried with the bears.  But working full time has made it difficult to make the bears or any craft.  But I still love to do it.

I too love the international repore that we have all over the world.  I learn many things about other places and have many pen pals because of it.  I love to see everyones bears and I love to see how Peter's hug keeps growing and he is such a wonderful person to chat with.  Everyone here on TT is wonderful and I have learned so much from it.  That is why I keep coming back.

WOW so glad I stopped by today, love this chit chat, I too miss the ole days even tho I am mostly a visitor.  I make bears but rarely post as don't know how to.  I loved the bear swaps, the virtual vacation with all the post cards, I guess no one wanted to do that this year.  Then valentines day there were only 2 of us, I love the ornament swap, I guess we all get so caught up in our own lives that we forget what a great place TT is.  I do stop in almost every day.  But not as much lately as it has kind of become dull.  I do see a lot of TT'rs on FB, but this still is the place to be, to learn and to communicate about bears in particular.  I am so glad to be a part of it, I have met so many wonderful friends here and hope we can keep it going.

I simply can not say enough good things about this rabbit, I love the fact that you showed the progression as you worked on it.  Fabulous.  You certainly can needlefelt, I have tried but not too good I am afraid.  Someday I will get better, but you have the nack and it is such a wonderful rabbit. Thanx so much for sharing and especially all the pictures as you went along.

Glad to hear from you Karon, now we need a pic.  My dogs are told to go pee, and pooparouch.  don't ask me where I came up with that.  I think sometimes they just want to go out and I said go pee and they both squat at the same time.  So cute.  They are my life.  I have a big yard so they run and play while sharing a stick in each of their mouths.   Great fun, so enjoy your pup and we will wait for the next update.

Are you telling the truth?  Are you sure that is not a real duck?  It is so wonderful and so hard to believe it is a fake.  So perfect in every way, I love it.
