This would make such a cute stuffed puppy! What an idea! Perhaps this would appeal to all those teens who are always on their cell phones. He sure is an adorable puppy! javascript:insert_text('%20:love:%20',%20'');
I just wanted everyone to know that I finally got the Care Bear afghan done I had been working on for the past 2 years. Given to my granddaughter who just loves it. It took me over 200 hours of time to make it, not counting all the love I poured into it. This was made from a pattern booklet. I would suggest anyone thinking of doing such an afghan to remember that it will take a long time to do. You can't whip this up overnight! Please let me know what you think of it. I value your comments. You can view a photo at greatinfotips.com/ teddy blog.
Oh, I just love him! He demands hugs and kisses! Great job! Rosie contact@greatinfotips.com
Reading all this was interesting as I am thinking of making my next bear a jointed one. However, I am wondering about those hardwood discs mentioned. Do they ever break? And using cotter pins, I am just not sure how this all works out. Any more suggestions on how to do the joints would really be appreciated. Rosie (contact@greatinfotips.com/teddyblog)
