can you not just restuff her more and change the head joint to suit the buyer (charge a fee for the extra work..im sure you would have had on your description it was a wobblejoint.. a fee plus return shipping) and send her back?? i think 3 weeks is also too long especially as you had someone else who wanted to buy it.

Hi Emma, they are both sweet..i love the tiny eyes, what are they made from? As far as constructive criticism, I would have to say your ears need attention..I feel they are both very large for such tiny faces, especially the first one, however, that could be the look you are going for. Its not a bad thing, but what I picked up on first.
I think you need to concentrate very hard on making them the same shape..if you look at the top bear, you can see one is a lot rounder on top than the other and on the second bear one appears pointed, though that could be the camera angle. I feel the first bears ears could be improved by trimming the inside fur..again thats just a preference...and i know how difficult it is to get matching ears..lol..but hey, you asked for constructiveness and thats all I can come up with..I think theyre adorable and they look well made to me.

hi there. depends how fat it is and how slippery the fabric is..heres a few techniques ive used in the past.
Sometimes i will stitch a piece of strong thread to the very end of the tail then using a large needle pull the tail through itself holding the string.
I have also pushed the tail through with a knitting needle..though sometimes it goes through the end. you could also try using a stuffing stick to push it inside out or if its a mini you could use forceps
when ive needed to do a really skinny tail, i only stitch the fatter end with a few stitches (usuallu 3 or 4 just to hold the seams where i want them). turn the tail through and then stitch the rest from the outside with a ladder stitch.
hope that helps!!

I think most Aussies know that surface takes ages, so don't stress out yet.
What concerns me though is did you pay for airmail and they sent it surface? if so, you should definately complain and get some of that shipping money back.

ugh..what a stinky problem. to help him in his crate, you could try putting an old towel in with him, then at least it soaks into the towel and isn't all over him.
Ive tried feliway to stop my neutered male cat stop spraying, but it did nothing here either. We did use some tranquilizers with good effect from the vet, but we didn't like drugging him up...from my research due to the same sort of isse, it usually is because of another cat making them uncomforatble, so if they are living together then the best solutions are really to have an outdoor cat run or rehome.. you could try forcing them together in a small room over a few days..but it seems mean if they really don't get along. hopefully your vet will have some suggestions..good luck!!

LOL..so bad its funny!!

you could try jointing with nuts and bolts if you don't already do so..im not really sure what else as youre already using steel shot. maybe you could find some small weights at a fishing store..surely they would have some that aren't made of lead?? I'll be interested to see what others suggest
Kerrilyn
That was fun..I just know Im going to be humming that all day!!
Kerrilyn
wow thanks for the links..you have to be suspisious of everyone these days..sheesh!
I did find it funny that one of the addresses he gave was very close to home for me. Longwarry North..I lived at Longwarry for 10 years as a kid..its a tiny town of about 500 people..it does have a street called Princes Way..with about 10 houses on it...as for Longwarry north..um..its pretty much a few farms north of longwarry..lol..im sure the people there would be just "thrilled" to know a scammer was using their name worldwide.

ive never seen any..i think it would be hard to make due to the size..a squeeker would work..or get one of those recordable things like in build a bear and record a growler on it. that could be cute!
Kerrilyn
great idea!! Thanks Quy
Kerrilyn
ohh sounds interesting..count me in!
Kerrilyn
wow congratulations..he is adorable!! (yes, he seems like a He to me too!!) If he were mine, i would unpick the white fabric from the top of his legs and shoulders and see what the damage is. It might not be as bad as the "bandages" make it seem. You may just need to sew some holes closed.
He appears well stuffed! If he were mine, I would dress him in a jumper and pants and leave him as he is!
About the freezer, did you put him in a plastic bag first?? I hear than can keep the damp out!
Enjoy him

i did it once ages ago on a mini bear. I used 2mm onyx beads and made a sort of cradle (kind of like a peapod) from very thin leather and sewed the bead in that so only a quarter of the bead showed. it made it like upper and lower eyelids. most of the leather was underneath . I don't fel like im explaining it very well..but i no longer have the bear or a picture to show you. Do you understand what i mean??
Kerrilyn
wow..thats a bit cheeky of them. I would tell them that you could make them a second one, but your waiting list is "however many months long" and that for fairness to everyone waiting if they want you to make them a second one they will have to go to the end of the list again. That way its in their court. if they want to wait, fine..but i bet they will just take whats offered!
Kerrilyn
Hi. I love making miniature things for my dolls house. for food i use fimo or sculpy polymer clay. Theres loads of books and magazines with step by step instructions. i would think you could find plenty online if you google 'miniature step by step' or dolls house. Have fun!!
Kerrilyn
what sort of fabric are they?? Ive used denim before..its not much different to using mohair except there's no fur. its not as forgiving to any mistakes as you can see the seams. if it really worries you, you could always use them to make bear jackets and hats. Good luck!
Kerrilyn
Hi!
Id just make a pirate and put a patch over one eye!! then u just have to do one!
Kerrilyn
For me it would depend on how long the bear had been up for sale..if it had been sitting for months with no interest, id concider offering it cheaper, and have a sale area on my website (i don't have one yet..but when i do..i shall)..if it had pretty much just been put up, i would not offer a discount. I think its fine for people to ask, but they have to be prepared for a no sometimes.
Kerrilyn
aww that is cute..bambi and thumper friends forever!!
