Can anyone please tell me if there is any special technique to dying feathers? They're pheasant if that makes a difference, and the color definitely needs to be set properly as the item they are going on is washable. Appreciate any and all suggestions!!

Yes, you can use it; some people use interfacing to stabilize it, others glue muslin or broadcloth on the back. Try both and see which works best for you.
