Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

All I can say is Thank you THank you to Shari, Cathy and Amanda.  I guess I am just that type if a person.  I get discouraged so easily and get down on myself.  Shari knows because i cry to her all the time.  Im glad to have feed back from Cathy and Amanda too.  I really have to stop beating myself up and keep moving forward.  I put my bears on the shelf yesterday and kept looking at them ( i listed 3)  and kept finding everything wrong with them.  I've listed about 6 bears in the past and sold them all.  In the beggining for not much but then the last one about 8 months ago i sold it for like $250, now not to shabby.  but as soon as somehting like this happens oops there i go, down.  I am a sufferer of depression for 11 years now so that doesn't help and oh anxieties now too.  Boy am i going to have fun when i go through menopause..yihaw!!
Well i don't want to sound negative but it is the truth.  I really do thank you for the encouragement girls!!  Love ya guys.  Aloha from Hawaii Shana

Oh wow I am so glad I stumbled across this one!!I made 3 bears for ebay and didn't sell the first...down i went...It was hard to get me to finish what i had started in the first place.  I just sit there and look at them like they are going to jump up and sew themselves.  I feel like Im in a daze sometimes and nothing comes to mind.  Clare some times i get a little spark if i look at magazines and then when i sit to sew...there i go again starying at it again.  I gotta be in the mood.  Cant just sit and start sewing or cutting.  Not very good.  I think I would be more motivative if they would sell right now on ebay. It is so slow looks like ... I was so sad today when i got a big ZERO...waaaaaaaaaaaah.  Oh well keep un trucken i guess.  I dont have a web site.  I need to look into that some time.  Okay well I feel better that I am not the only one.

I think it is very creative if you can make all kinds of "looks".  It takes special planning and some of us make the same look all the time.  Just think of yourself as having a talent that is very unique.  Thats what makes each and every one of our bears special.  Some have a style that everyone will look at and there is no doubt its so and so's bear.  But you do have a style in there that is the same even though you dont think so.  To all who think its not good, its really a gifted talent from God!!

I think our bears  all have a certain look.  But if you dont I think that it takes alot of creativity to make each one different.  I think mine have a certain look .  I agree you can tell who made what by their style or look.  But if you dont have a  look its okay. It just means you are very very creative and versatile...(Is that the way to spell versitile..Im a bad speller!!)  Dont worry you are all doing something some of us cant do.  Big Hugs....Shana

Jenny they are like little snow bunnies but bears. So cute!! Love the paw pads.  Im yet to learn how to do that.  Here in Hawaii I don't have access to books so i order off the internet. No shows,  classes.  I would really love to go to one of those one day!!!!!!!!  Its like a kid being in a candy store I would think.  Does any one go to those?  Seems like it would be like Disneyland for adults.

Oh Judi I remember the day you told me the story of that horrible tragedy.  I cried so hard for you.  But you know what Judi dont beat yourself up about it.  Your mind was on something else more important for you.  Your little angels will take care of you.  Just a reminder that things could be worse.  Enjoy your family and celebrate having them with you.  I say that because I know the heart ache you went through.  We are all here for you.  Something good will come out of this I know.  Hopefully the buying will be honest, and if not well we know what comes around goes around.  That was an awesome sale and you can do it again.  I hope they can get it all fixed.  Being honest is the way to go!!  We love you Judi.  You are in our prayers!!

oh my gosh my stomach hurts from laughing...its not too much from the bearmonkey thing but of how you wrote it and what your hubby said...hahaha.  That is something my husband would say.  I needed that laugh.  That was so cute.  You are funny! but then when i read what everyone else wrote and looked at it again and they put up the alf photo,  now i cant breathe...hahahaha.  Dilu i must say that took courage to show us all.  Hey thats how we learn and you made it a good learning situation.  You are great!! Cute story!!
