Hello, all, sorry I haven't been around for a while, spent time with my granddaughter, then went to see my grandson and his newborn brother, all is good!
I have also spent time cleaning out my sewing room and have some magazines to get rid of. I have Teddy Bear Review going back to Fall 1987 to June 2012, and 4 Teddy Bear and Friends.
Let me know if you are interested in any of them!

I found 3 Steiff animals at a local Flea Market. Looking for advice, should I purchase? They all say (by seller) 1980's Steiff. The one I purchased is Goldy the chipmunk. The other 2, pictured here, is Petsy and a pig. Price sounds good to me, but I have never owned Steiff's so don't know if it is a good price or not! Any help is appreciated. They all look in excellent shape. Willing to buy and re-sell if anyone is interested!

My nails look great! just got back from my pedicure.....
I was asked to help Santa. A little girl told everyone that she was getting a pink and purple Unicorn from Santa....my very first, think it turned out OK, Mom was thrilled.

We are in a state of emergency. No unnecessary travel, church services cancelled. We still have power at this time, lots of people without. Very dangerous outside, but looks very pretty. Probably have about 1/4 inch on the tree right outside the house. For anyone else affected...stay safe and warm!

Haven't been working on any critters for the past few weeks. Took 10-days to visit my new grandson in Spokane, WA. He is absolutely adorable, and such a good baby. Mom & Dad have taken to parenthood like pros!!!! Then went to a craft show at my niece's church in Rochester, the best part of that was seeing my niece and her 2 kids....not much in sales. Then spent a week cooking and cleaning for an Open House we did for our 60th birthdays and David's retirement.....spent Sunday relaxing and now it is back to making critters and everything else! have orders for 4 critters, so I guess I best get busy and stop playing!
I have lots of extra eyes and noses. I have packs of 20 that I am willing to let go for shipping...contact me if you are interested.

One company calls the material Razzle, another Silky Furry Fleece. JoAnn fabric carries it, as does Hancock

thank you all. Plans are for him to be home for the weekend. Been under lights and has been watched since he was born, but all sounds well.
My Grandson decided not to wait until Oct. 1 to make his entrance to the world. He was born on Thursday, Aug 29 in Spokane WA (the other side of the country from me!) Can't make it out to meet him until Oct. 15 :(
He was 5 lbs. 13 oz, mommy and baby, (daddy also) all doing well. His name is Francis MacMaster Luerssen.

It was a little late, but my hubby bought this bear for our anniversary and then arranged him on the wall at camp. All chain saw carving. Love my new bear and my (older) hubby
the bear in the middle has the most wonderful fur. Soft and fluffy. She was a little uneven, but she did a good job on her. I used that same material to make a music-box bear for my granddaughter's first birthday, same pattern the girls used.

Spent a week, 2 hours a day, with 3 10-year old girls making their own bears. A bit challenging at times, but they did complete the bears in 10 hours. They now each have their own new best-ist friend.

I make baby-safe bears, and my 'jointed' bears have been safety tested and are safe for all age levels. My bears marked 'baby-safe' have embroidered eyes and no joints. I have even made dog-safe bears....that is a job!

I can't tell you much about them. But, I make teddy bears that look like this. I made the pattern because it reminded me of bears I grew up with, also looks like Radar's Bear on the TV series MASH.
Are there any pictures of Teddy? I found Ganz My First Teddy on Amazon..............
Does the music box still play? If I could hear it, I could probably tell you the song. Perhaps there is someone in your area that knows music that could listen and tell you...a music person from a church, school or college might be able to help.

My next project!

Thank you all. I will try to post pics of the needlefelted critter.....I know that Ti is romping around with his good buddies Cabernet, Zeidico, Moses and Charlie, and I am sure a nice warm fire will be waiting for me (although Ti would run outside as we cared for the fire in the house (in the wood stove)
My own cute animal pic of the day. This is Ti, my Australian Shepherd. We enjoyed 10 wonderful years with him. He died on Friday, lots of tumors and difficult breathing. I plan to needlefelt a dog from his fur.
