It's not a fur I dyed myself...my last attempt at dying fur orange led to an apricot colour - pretty, but not what I was after. I need more practice!  From memory, the fur is this one here on Mohair Bear Making Supplies: https://www.mohairbearmakingsupplies.co … ohair.html
It has a lovely sheen and a dark backing fabric which makes the colour particularly rich. I can recommend it.
